This week i head out with my son to compare the £900 Minelab Equinox 800 to the £300 Minelab X-Terra, we wanted to compare signals to see how well the beginner machine would pick up the same targets as the advanced machine. Kid knew the machine switched it to 5 kHz

Freddy has been detecting since he was 7, he is aware of the settings on minelab machines as he started with the Vanquish. He asked me if he should change the frequency for this particular target to see if it would make a difference so i said “ok, try it and lets see what happens”
