I mean, there better be. Sure, the Guitar Hero-style song boards and Punch-Out-esque boss fights are cool looking, but I’d like to explore more into those minigames too. Rhythm Heaven, or Rhythm Paradise, was the first rhythm game I properly played, so there’s also an element of nostalgia in those.
This looks so different from usual Brace Yourself Games games, but somehow it feels so on-brand. I love the variety here already, and I can't wait to see what new jams Danny Baranowsky brings to the table!
I'm awful at rythm games, and rythm in general, I could never get far in NecroDancer and honestly I don't care, I don't regret buying it, I still listen to the OST every so often and the game is so well made I'm happy to support it. I'm sure I'll be awful at this game too but you can bet it'll be in my library when it comes out. I'll be happy to support people doing creative things with these genres.
I find Rhythm Heaven significantly easier for me than Crypt of the Necrodancer, and this new game looks similar. You might be good at it! I also find more traditional roguelikes to be easier than Crypt. It's just the combination of the two that's pretty hard for me.

The Friday Night Funkin influences are definitely there. I'm not a zoomer teen who thinks that stuff is the bee's knees, but tap that shit often because they will throw money at you I am sure of it
