Thats a beauty. Its a pity BSA didnt keep gradually refining the Airsporter and Mercury like Porsche have with the 911! It would be great to see your Mercury professionally re blued . Great video as always.
I started with a Meteor, I wish they still made them like that, though I still shoot my 28 year old HW35 and have a superb Walther LGU, the new stuff just doesn’t get anywhere near the quality 😎
Beautiful gun, they are basic compared to the German offerings @ time of production ,the design/shape was pure genius ,but the ugly guns are so much better ,but you can not beat a BSA for style /history ,and to own such a gun was something many would aspire to 👍don’t understand why they stopped production !
Besides Airsporter and Mercury that has a trigger block where trigger guard and end cap are connected in one piece, is there any other break barrel that also has the same? Thanks
first rifle my dad got me was a bsa can’t remember if it was a mercury might have been . early to mid seventies. i guess . i was about 8 or 9 it was a meteor i remembered god it sucks getting old 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Had a mercury back in the day loved it also had a airsporter as well
Both classic British rifles
