- This video will show you how to replace the O2 sensor in your Kia Optima. This should be the same for all gen 4 Kia Optima’s from 2011 to 2015.
Torq Spec for the O2 sensors are as follow:
All specs were taken from the Kia Optima Manual
Upstream sensor - 29 to 36 foot pounds
Downstream sensor - 26 to 33 foot pounds
Muy interesante el video. Y Util
Awesome video. This is the only video i could find that explained how to get the recessed upstream out!!!! My sensor socket wouldn't fit but i didnt beat it down a little...thanks for this video.keep em coming
Thank you, I greatly appreciate it!
Excellent video. What are the parts number?
Thank you! The parts are NTK 25199 for the downstream and NTK 24381 for the upstream.
Great video. I just found out I need a 02 oxygen sensor and I can’t find anyone to do it for me. So looks like I am going to do it myself. This video looks pretty easy to follow. Are these sensors sold separately?
Thank you! If you go to an auto parts store they’ll sell it to you separately but if you look on line you should be able to find bundles.
@@Ghost_Automotive_DIY Ok. Thank you so much
@@mck8621 Anytime! Thank you for watching the video and I hope it helps!
@@Ghost_Automotive_DIY It helped a lot. I thought it was hard but I see I can do if I just take my time. Do you happen to know a website I can order them from and get them tomorrow?
@@mck8621 definitely take you’re time and it’ll be done in no time. The only site that I know of was Amazon that does stuff like that but not sure if they have that option with the O2 sensors. I picked up the ones I used from an auto parts store
