I find these "rules" more liberating than restrictive..They are the height of elegance and refinement...In a world gone mad with screaming logos and fingernails that look more like talons in gaudy colours, a refined lady whispers a feminine allure..I was blessed to have Diana, Princess of Wales as my role model as a young woman. I am the lady i am because of her lovely example for which i am very grateful 🌹
I agree with you. I respect these women for their class and polite demeanor…. I’m not really understanding Meghan’s inclusion, since she apparently could not cut it, and said so very loudly by exiting the Royal family. Why include her.
It's wonderful to know that you follow most of these rules and strive for true elegance. Elegance is a lifestyle that reflects not only in your appearance but also in how you behave and treat others. Keep nurturing these habits as they can enrich your life and the way you interact with the world around you. ❤️
I think these are generally excellent rules to follow. It is so uplifting to see a polished, lovely woman who is well-dressed, well-groomed and poised, especially in this time when extreme casualness is the norm. A fascinating short story you might enjoy is “When Queens Ride By” by Agnes Turnbull. It is a thought-provoking essay on how a woman can provide so much morale, inspiration and encouragement just by how she presents herself. I think it’s an aspect sadly lost in our society, that our presence does profoundly affect others either positively or negatively.
Definitely! She was someone you had to admire. The royal family traditionally had their babies at home and Diana was like ‘Hell to the no! I’m having my babies at a hospital!’ Diana was touching people with leprosy and touching babies and all sorts of people with aids, walking through fields with landmines, talking about her personal life on national television and battling bulimia. She was her own woman and very courageous. @@LucrativeElegance
@@stacistaci6657 In private Diana was also a very different person. I refer you to the videos of February 8, 2022, September 1, 2022 & September 23, 2023 on Diana’s life on Lady Colin Campbell’s channel. Because she KNEW Diana & spoke to her many times & knows the truth of what went on behind the scenes. Not taking anything away from all the wonderful Charity work she performed in her Royal role.
The nail rules & dress code have relaxed somewhat since Her Majesty’s passing. Princess Katherine had Red Nail polish on last year for a function. The Royal Ladies also wear more comfortable clothes & trousers more often now too, Instead of always having to wear a dress or skirt.

I also loved Princess Diana. I think she was very beautiful and well-mannered! She was an example for me as well! :*

I try to incorporate all of those rules. Classy and timeless.
👏👏👏👏👏👏
If you follow these rules you will achieve true elegance. I follow most of them actually. ❤

These sound like rules or suggestions for any woman wishing to be more elegant and lady like.
I would and could follow every rule…I actually do now..💞💞
Princess Diana broke a few rules. She has worn red nails and electric blue eyeliner in public.
That's true, Princess Diana was known for her unique style and for breaking some of the traditional royal norms.

@@NatalieG427 Thanks for the reply. I will definitely check that out tomorrow when I have more time. I'm thinking it's going to be scandalous! 😲
Very educative ❤
Thank you! 😘❤️
“ Educative” Isn’t a word. Educational is the correct grammatical term here.

❤️❤️
I can't cope with the false narration and mispronounced words. Why would you not do your own? A great channel but for that.
You talk about royal fashion and not mention princess Diana. Was that deliberate?
Princess Diana is definitely a fashion icon! Thanks for mentioning her, I'll consider including more about her!
