From an Italian girl I'm really honored for this video. In the southern women are more bold and colorful, mixing and match with prints and colour, in north the style is much more quite, like French, but I 'm really grateful that so many people appriciate our style. So thanks again for this lesson of Italian style. Love your channel.💕
My grandmother and her family emigrated from Offida, Italy, a town known for its lacemakers, so I particularly appreciated your comments about Italian women’s love of lace and respect for heritage. Thank you!
I'm so glad to hear that you appreciated the part about lace and the connection to Italian heritage! Offida is indeed a special place, rich in tradition and talent in the art of lace-making, something that reflects the beauty and depth of Italian culture. :***
I am Italian and in my experience your number 3 is actually number 1. As to the colors and patterns mixing: there are fundamental differences between fashion in the different regions. In my view, some of the statements are generalizations which ignore the very differences which make Italian fashion so unique.
I love the Italian fashion and thank you for highlighting here, the classics foundation that’s the success of the mix and match shown here. One thing to consider, though is there slim figures. They don’t just take care of the envelope, but also keep their figure in check.
I'm American, but my mother was French and my papa Italian. I love when I'm in Rome and go to the mercato Trionfale in Rome, where my favorite vendors call me "la donna francese." I'll take it! I've noticed that while what we think of as the beautiful French style is cool and elegant, Italian women have a warmth and vivacity in their way of dressing. And their spring coats -- so colorful and fun after gloomy winters!
What an amazing cultural mix you have! Indeed, the French and Italian influence on fashion brings the best of both worlds: the effortless elegance of French style and the warm vivacity of Italian fashion. It's fascinating how these cultures express themselves through clothing, isn't it? Italian spring coats truly are a statement of joy and color, reflecting the transition from gloomy winters to more joyful and sunny times. Your observation reminds us of the importance of celebrating cultural diversity and richness in our way of dressing. Whether it's incorporating French sophistication or Italian exuberance, what matters is finding the personal expression that resonates with you. I'd love to see how you blend these influences into your personal style!
You always bringing an A game when it comes to elegance. Outstanding ❤ love everything about this video and little by little will replace junk clothing with quality pieces. No more leggings for fashion except gym. Ty so much. My anti depressant pill content. ❤❤🙏🙏
Love France, live there now but their minimal style can seem austere. Yes please to a bit of colour! After years of trying to fit in with my French colleagues I feel like it’s time to break out a bit
My stunning wife happens to love fashion. When we met in Milan 1984, she was a 21 yr old fashion model, so clothing is in her Italian bloodstream. She always looks sophisticated, elegant, and beautiful, and I enjoy every minute of it. She really has quite the woredrobe covering all seasons. Her favorite season summer and color is white. Just her shoes, well over 400 pairs required a walk-in closet. Now, her clothing, pocketbooks, and accessories are all in two additional very large connecting walk-ins closets. They look like a Madison Ave. showroom. I tell her its a well worth investment! So, we had 7 children, in our first 11 years of marriage. My wife loved motherhood and did a splendid job raising them. Now, we are benefiting from the fruits of our labor. I am grateful and enjoy the fact that she looks 20 years younger than her age and is absolutely gorgeous in her heart and appearance. We are truly blessed in every aspect. Oh, she has 3 very beautiful cars to go out and do more shopping if she chooses. Her newest addition is her 2023 Ferrari F488 Spider. Love seeing my gorgeous Italian wife in a white dress in her white car. I love this woman!!!
High quality, natural-fiber fabrics and materials like genuine leather, and classic styles forever! Those who shop this way never look cheaply dressed or outdated. I buy for a lifetime of use, so the quality has to be top-grade and the style timeless. I wear classic, quality garments and accessories that are 40 years old, they don’t look the least worn out or out-of-style. Like my beautiful Dior burgundy long wool coat, it still makes me happy every time I wear it. Buying quality costs more initially, but is a much better value in the long run. We Americans, especially, have an unrealistic idea of the costs to manufacture wardrobe items, thanks to synthetic fibers and fast-fashion. By number of dollars (not purchasing power) many clothes cost the same number of dollars as they did in the 70s, when I was a teenager. That is, say, $30-35 for a jacket, $10 for a top, $20 for a sweater, etc. But, the dollar is worth much less now, 50 years later, these dirt-cheap prices can only be offered in the cheapest materials and construction. These practices exploit and abuse labor and pollute our environment. They’re not nice to wear, either, I avoid synthetic clothes and plastic accessories like the Plague! Most trends, too, I usually like only those few that are revivals of classics. A Barbie-pink polyester bubble skirt I saw, for example - nauseating!
Love love love Italian shoes. I live on the Gold Coast in Australia. Women here dress very frumpy, always in black, ripped jeans, nothing flatering and plastic thongs (flip flops). Most are over weight. In Italy I never saw over weight people. Even the men dressed with flare.
I live in Siracusa, Sicily. Most women dress in funereal black - puffer jackets, skirts, trousers. Very few are elegant. Yet in the nearby baroque town of Modica, most women are WOW. Odd
Yes to Italian style! But, no to tanning, it’s so ugly and it’s the reason most mature women look so much older than their age. One thing I love about Italian style is the use of classic, Baroque prints, they’re hard to find anywhere else. I just got the most beautiful Italian silk scarf in a Baroque print of red and dark magenta on white (D&G). It’s the prettiest, and one of the highest-quality scarves, in my collection. I have cashmere Polo sweaters in both the red and dark magenta colors, which look great with this scarf and white jeans or other white bottoms. Plus, I can’t tolerate cashmere directly around my neck, a silk scarf essential for wearing this fiber or Merino there.
Why does this channel seem so artificial? I like the content but the voiceover seems fake with word mispronounciations and the video cover photos are too polished making the female faces look CGIed. Something is definitely off.

I am from Poland and must say no country impressed me more regarding fashion than Italy, it’s a pure art to watch how people dress there.

If I may ask, can you teach us about some of the “very differences which make Italian fashion so unique?”. Thank you 😊
