They should combine them all, make a live action, micky-centric movie where they meet an alien race of turtles (so the guys can get some alien turtle G/Fs) & using the Alien tech they go to an alternate dimension where they meet up with that other new turtle, what's his name, & have to defeat the triceratons (who rule earth in that dimenson) to get back home. Explosions & action ensues & they manage to get back. Only some of the triceratons get through with them & the TMNT have to defeat the Triceraton leader at the end to make things right. & then they could have either the triceratons that got through stay peacefully on this earth or they agree to go back to their own dimension & do.
I honestly would’ve liked to asked Eastman and/or laird if they ever saw the ROTTMNT cartoon series and expressed what species they’d have liked to make one of their favorite turtle creations to be, like... we know that Kevin Eastman considers Raphael his favorite ninja turtle creation, and I bet he’d have liked to draw Raphael into one of his favorite real life turtle species be it a red eared slider or one of them dove eating turtle predator species known as Common Snapping Turtles. I feel that TMNT 2007 is a worthy sequel to the 90s live action movies. There were plenty of references to that trilogy in the form of lines of dialogue and Easter Eggs (Shredder's helmet, the TGRI canister, the time scepter, Dirk Walker's hat, etc.)
Yeah there is a groundwork for that through the 2013 game TMNT: Out of the Shadows. It was a huge flop tho, you can't even get the game easy now because it's license expired and is digital only. The mod community is at a road block as well.

I would of like to seen the one with Michelangelo, is the last turtle. We always think as Mikey is a little more than comedy relief / back up for his Brothers. Good natured soul, with a laid back attitude. Never would we think that he would be anything more than that. Not smart enough to lead, or ever come up with a good plan. Now with out any support from his brothers or advice from his mentor. How does Mikey find and get the help he needs? Does he hide out from Shedder? Or does he go to another which he has worked with in his past. That could be April, Casey, or even Bruce Wayne, or does he go it alone? No matter what, this would be a great devolvement story for him.
Same, I love that movie. It had slightly weaker plot but I loved it as a kid and it still holds a special place in my heart. Especialy Leo x Ralph fight scene. Absolutely spectacular.
The main plot was the only thing holding the movie back. The side plots such as the feud between Leo and Raph and Leo's prologue in the north Korean jungle were good.The art, animations, and voice acting were great. I had no other complaints about this movie.
They had so much they could have worked with in TMNT 3. Slash,Rat King,Krang,Baxter Stockman,Bebop and Rocksteady,Leatherhead....but yet they give us two uninspired bland "original" villians,in Walker and Norinaga....what a shame. I wish TMNT 3 would permanently be erased from my childhood memories 😔
The" trench knife" Slash's action figure from 1990 has is actually a Butterfly sword with spikes added to the handguard. As for Kirby having one, I think its just a coincidence since Slash debuted in the original cartoon in season 4 (1990) and the Kirby concept designs did not come along until later.

The 1990 original, I still have to try not to cry when they are at the farm and see splinter in the fire while they're meditating. I love that movie so much.
I would like to see one of two movies in this franchise, either: 1. A retro active sequel to the 1990 movie that ignores the sequels we got back in the 90's, has the same tone as the first one and continues the story properly. Those seem to be a thing now anyway, sooo... Or 2. A new reboot that can properly capture the Mirage comic book while also bringing it up to date at the same time. In other words, an up to date version of TMNT 1990, and if it has to have sequels then do them correctly this time. Also, that story idea for the Hallmark mini series about the turtles' long lost fifth brother who turns out to be a second Shredder...that sounds pretty sick and the story board done as a comic book looks really cool. If that story board is complete then they should release it as a comic book through IDW. That way we could still see it even though it didn't get to be a movie and it would probably make a fortune. They are sitting on a gold mine with that one and probably don't realise it.

I came up with my own take on the TMNT! It's called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Into the Shadows, which is set 10 years after a tragic event, in which Splinter was killed, and Mutants were made illegal. With the 4 Brothers being the only Mutants left on Earth, but this is all until Cynthia Umtron and Karai merge the Foot Clan's DNA with those of animals, which sparks a war between humans and Mutants. This ideration would take nore influence for the original comics, in which to hide themselves the team all wear red masks, but they still have the Letter belts. And Shredder would be violently killed at the start, which would cause the near extinction of Mutants, as this act was seen by hundreds of people.
I was interested in the Hallmark special, since it did look dark. And I like the idea of a train fight. Also Kirby in that looks pretty awesome. If anything, I do wanna see Kirby come to fruition. And I think it would be pretty neat if it’s Mikey plays a larger role in another movie, instead of Raph and Leo.
I think that Michelangelo was naturally prime for increased storylines and following movie adaptations of the ninja turtles because he is the least used turtle so there is such a expanse of material you could go into. Michelangelo seems to be the most extroverted but also I feel like it is a front for what's really going on inside his head. there are so many directions you could go with that obviously with the takes from the other movie ideas
What we need now is a The Last Ronin adaptation a la Logan. Grim. Dark. For the kids that were kids in the late 80s. Do that, you don't even need a HUGE budget... and I SWEAR it will be a fucking success!
The story of 2007 wasn't the best but there were many things in that movie I adored. I'm happy without a sequel only because it wasn't ruined for me but in all honesty I was very sad when a new one never came to light.
TMNT 2007 cartoon is the most underrated nnja turtle cartoon ever made. Pretty much every important aspect of the turtles is there - more mature and dark approach to the universe; great art style and, in particular, good looking turtles instead of Shreks on steroids; strong family and friendship themes and all other stuff. Would be a great thrilogy. Yet it was not successful and quickly forgotten, leaving the spot light to Michael Bay's movies and Nickelodeon's "Rise of the turtles"... sigh.
The first nick show was successful, it ran for 5 seasons and had a long toyline and the dvds are still available Most toylines dont run now for more than a year or two, and when sales drop tie in shows are immediately canned. Thats what happened with rise for example.

It really wasn't a great movie though. It has too many elements, and no time to properly develop them. It all kind of falls apart. I mean, none of the Turtles movies are great cinema, but because the other ones are sillier, you can kind of embrace their flaws and accept them as guilty pleasures. But the 2007 movie's more serious tone means its mediocrity is harder to ignore.
The benefits of the movie animated is that they have to build all new costumes so would that would save some money. You could use camera moves that really camera couldn’t. You could have wilder stunts and no one would get hurt or die. They wouldn’t have spend money on permits to film on location The list goes on and you hopefully got the point.

When i was a kid, i literally thought the 2007 tmnt movie was live action. That’s how good the CGI animation was to me. The turtles looked SOOO good at that time for me. I only realized it was animated when i saw the humans lol!
Some of those movies sounded kind of interesting. A John Woo directed film with Leo and Kirby facing off initially would’ve been amazing and that Hallmark project sounded quite interesting!
Honestly, the concept of TMNT 2 would be amazing to see. Even if not a sequel to TMNT, a story focused on Michelangelo would’ve been great. Just to show the character in a new light and show him as more than just the party dude, how he would’ve held his own even with or without his brothers and Splinter.

I remember a few Michelangelo focused episodes from the old 87 series. So I think having a movie that focused on Michelangelo would have been a bit much to remove the other 3 turtles from much of the story. Would have been interesting to have Michelangelo have his own side story to the movie, but having it as the central focus would have been a bit much but still interesting.

Because the Turtles had contact with Splinter as a human (depending on what version of the story you subscribe to) or even that they were pets of humans, Mikey's next mutation concept idea makes the most sense.
If I'm not mistaken the live-action TMNT 1997 series was a continuation of the first 3 films. This series crossed over with the Power Rangers in Space setting in the PR universe.
I would have loved to see the one where Mikey has to save his family by finding a way to mutate them again. I don't know why but I always love story lines where the goofball immature one has to save everyone else on their own. Just one of the reasons why I like the Parasitica episode of the 2012 animated series. Its also a great way to develop the character.

Jim Henson created the puppets etc for the first 2 TMNT movies but he passed away in 1991 hence why #3 looks different. They had to go with somebody else for third film. Also why in Secret of the Ooze they pay tribute to him in the credits.
Henson Studios Did Not go away with Jim's passing. By then his son Brian was running the company. the reason T3 went with somebody else was do to Budget.
If I was in charge of a new Turtles reboot, I would make it a gritty, live-action six-film period piece set in the 1980s. It would explore the turtles’ coming of age and their journey of self discovery as they open up to people on the surface world. Now here’s the film outline… TMNT - This would be your standard vigilante origin film, with the turtles befriending detective April O’Neil and going up against villains like the Purple Dragons, the NY Foot Clan, and the Shredder. The film would end with a Foot rebellion and Shredder retreating back to Japan to re-strategize. TMNT: A Light in the Darkness - The turtles go up against Victor Falco and an army of rat catching robots called mousers. Casey Jones also gets involved. Mutagenesis - This film would be a stand-alone origin film for the Mutanimals, a community of renegade mutants who escape TCRI and fight to survive in a dingy, crime-filled New York. TMNT: Blood Covenant - The turtles and April O’Neil investigate the cause of recent mutant attacks, and find out that the Rat King, or a mutated Victor Falco, is responsible for them. This film would introduce the Utroms, a groups of alien researchers who founded TCRI. We would also see the turtles meet the Mutanimals. TMNT: Eye for an Eye - This film would be the film where shit starts to hit the fan, as the Shredder returns to New York as the new leader of the Foot Clan. The turtles try everything to stop him, but they ultimately fail and get trapped in Dimension X by the dark warrior. They need to go back to the origins of the turtles. A dark, gritty movie where we see the whole story in Japan, with Hatmato Yoshi and Oroko Saki. The love story with Tang Shen. And then finally we get an intro to the turtles LIVE ACTION! As they were in the 1990 movie. Perfect soft reboot and sequel that pays homage to the first movie. This would work. Make the tone as dark and gritty as part one. This could be a one off film, like the mighty successful Joker!
I remember still being in elementary school when the 2007 TMNT movie came out, my dad showed me the very first trailer for it (the one where they’re running along the rooftops and ends with Mikey landing in the dumpster), at first I thought it was just a fan animation but when I saw a date at the end I got sooooo hyped. Richie Cintron I went to a comic con where Kevin Eastman was a guest. I went to his panel and someone asked him if he wanted to make a darker/more gritty TMNT movie - since he had the final say on all things Turtles. He said he’ll be on board to see something like that.
All 90s fans wanted were after 1 and 2 was Keno and Kc Jones helping the Turtles battle Krang... Smh That's what we should've got in III but they went really light like Batman franchise was doing..

Today, if i were to reboot the franchise, I would start with an origin story about hamato yoshi and oroku saki. make it about a budding friendship turned blood-feud. Where yoshi is ultimately disgraced and forced to to leave japan. leaving easter eggs along the way for things to come, such as yoshi having a fondness for small creatures. Juxtapose that by Saki having a fascination with science, technology, and power of every sort. including ancient spiritual power.
I finally got Phelous' joke where he wears that lame-fakey version of the Shredder costume and calls himself "Colonel Schrader"🤣 I most would have liked to see the TMNT sequel about Michaelangelo. I'm always fascinated by stories about the Turtles losing their mutation and reverting back to ordinary turtles. I think ever since I saw the original miniseries as a kid and they almost got shot with the retro-mutagen gun. They did ultimately use the unstable mutation concept in the latter days of the 87 cartoon, with all of them basically mutating into four versions of the Raptor Raph concept art.
Yeah, I did not know about this until much later since I stopped watching the original cartoon at the start of season 8. Thanks to the DVD releases I corrected this oversight, I must say that I enjoyed this story development even if it was a little late in the series life span to have the proper impact. As a TMNT fan since 1987, I must say that I will glad take the final three seasons of the original cartoon over the third live action movie and The Next Mutation tv series any day.

Short Answer: Copyright. Long Answer: TMNT (2007) was made in part and distributed by Warner Brothers. The TMNT license was bought by Viacom in 2009, meaning all future movies would be made by Paramount. Paramount can't use what Warner Brothers has made without paying a substantial fee, which why bother when even the flopped Out of the Shadows still made over two and a half times it gross, with the 2014 film making over six times its gross to make a sequel to a relatively obscure movie that no one has to make.
Another big factor in the 2007 CGI movie not getting a squeal was due to the animation company that made it, Imagi Studio's closing down. While TMNT (2007) did take in 95 million dollars at the box office, many of the other movies Imagi made after it failed pretty big at the box office. On February 5th 2010, Imagi closed its doors for good. It is a pity since I really enjoyed TMNT despite not seeing in the theatre. Also, I had heard that some story ideas had been discussed for a potential squeal, which would have the Shredder return as Karai teased at the end of the movie.
Cinema is a distribution company that does DVD and VHS selves primarily VHS because it was out by the 90s. He just went away . That said it wasn't a production company it was just a distribution company so they didn't owe anything with the rates for distribution so to say that they pulled out to Trimark we're going would be a disservice
For the part where Shredder gets put back together with Nano technology I could see Baxter Stockman being involved maybe he was forced against his will to put Shredder back together and maybe his mutation at the end of the second movie deformed him to the point where he wasn't going to survive in his present state so they would use nano tech to maybe flush out the Ooze and using Cyborg parts put him back together stronger and more threatening than he had ever been.
Here it is 2021, I'm 59 years old and would love to see a turtle movie made. Not sure about that Hallmark one. That just seems to be too tame a channel to have a turtle movie unless they all found LOVE some how. Other wise it might just of been a phishing. I have a theory that TMNT: Mutant Mayhem will set up a sequel that introduces a multiverse throughout the TMNT franchisees, very similar to what Into & Across & Beyond the Spiderverse did. & in my opinion they should, and I hope we get at least 3 or 5 sequels to Mutant Mayhem.
I'm sure someone's pointed it out by now. But it looks like Kirby was going to be using butterfly swords. As Chinese weapons, I wonder if the parallel dimensional Turtles were all going to be Chinese based instead of Japanese based as we know them. 'Everyone' might've had the black box, the white box, and the yellow box back in the day, but not me. I never owned the third movie until Blu-ray, when buying a collection was the only way to get the first movie on the format. By the time that movie was released, I was a teenager, and the further they got from the tone and quality of the first movie, the less I cared. I was growing up, and the movies were being targeted more and more narrowly at kids. The maturity and edge of the first movie were gone. Even Secret of the Ooze, which I loved in 1991, was a tough slog for me by 1993. Turtles III? No thanks.

I would of like to seen the one with Michelangelo, is the last turtle. We always think as Mikey is a little more than comedy relief / back up for his Brothers. Good natured soul, with a laid back attitude. Never would we think that he would be anything more than that. Not smart enough to lead, or ever come up with a good plan. Now with out any support from his brothers or advice from his mentor.
How does Mikey find and get the help he needs? Does he hide out from Shedder? Or does he go to another which he has worked with in his past. That could be April, Casey, or even Bruce Wayne, or does he go it alone?
No matter what, this would be a great devolvement story for him.

The main plot was the only thing holding the movie back. The side plots such as the feud between Leo and Raph and Leo's prologue in the north Korean jungle were good.The art, animations, and voice acting were great. I had no other complaints about this movie.

As for Kirby having one, I think its just a coincidence since Slash debuted in the original cartoon in season 4 (1990) and the Kirby concept designs did not come along until later.

At 12:44 the "Kirby" design is a carbon copy of the 1990 TNMT Slash action figure from the bandanna, pads, colours, and even his weapons.
I would like to see one of two movies in this franchise, either:
1. A retro active sequel to the 1990 movie that ignores the sequels we got back in the 90's, has the same tone as the first one and continues the story properly. Those seem to be a thing now anyway, sooo...

2. A new reboot that can properly capture the Mirage comic book while also bringing it up to date at the same time. In other words, an up to date version of TMNT 1990, and if it has to have sequels then do them correctly this time.
Also, that story idea for the Hallmark mini series about the turtles' long lost fifth brother who turns out to be a second Shredder...that sounds pretty sick and the story board done as a comic book looks really cool. If that story board is complete then they should release it as a comic book through IDW. That way we could still see it even though it didn't get to be a movie and it would probably make a fortune. They are sitting on a gold mine with that one and probably don't realise it.

I came up with my own take on the TMNT! It's called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Into the Shadows, which is set 10 years after a tragic event, in which Splinter was killed, and Mutants were made illegal. With the 4 Brothers being the only Mutants left on Earth, but this is all until Cynthia Umtron and Karai merge the Foot Clan's DNA with those of animals, which sparks a war between humans and Mutants. This ideration would take nore influence for the original comics, in which to hide themselves the team all wear red masks, but they still have the Letter belts. And Shredder would be violently killed at the start, which would cause the near extinction of Mutants, as this act was seen by hundreds of people.
A sin city style TMNT movie would be awesome. Based off the graphic novels more adult based and darker and grittier

I was interested in the Hallmark special, since it did look dark. And I like the idea of a train fight. Also Kirby in that looks pretty awesome. If anything, I do wanna see Kirby come to fruition. And I think it would be pretty neat if it’s Mikey plays a larger role in another movie, instead of Raph and Leo.
I think that Michelangelo was naturally prime for increased storylines and following movie adaptations of the ninja turtles because he is the least used turtle so there is such a expanse of material you could go into. Michelangelo seems to be the most extroverted but also I feel like it is a front for what's really going on inside his head. there are so many directions you could go with that obviously with the takes from the other movie ideas

The story of 2007 wasn't the best but there were many things in that movie I adored. I'm happy without a sequel only because it wasn't ruined for me but in all honesty I was very sad when a new one never came to light.
TMNT 2007 cartoon is the most underrated nnja turtle cartoon ever made. Pretty much every important aspect of the turtles is there - more mature and dark approach to the universe; great art style and, in particular, good looking turtles instead of Shreks on steroids; strong family and friendship themes and all other stuff. Would be a great thrilogy.
Yet it was not successful and quickly forgotten, leaving the spot light to Michael Bay's movies and Nickelodeon's "Rise of the turtles"... sigh.
And it felt more like a ninja story too. More so than all the rest of them
The first nick show was successful, it ran for 5 seasons and had a long toyline and the dvds are still available Most toylines dont run now for more than a year or two, and when sales drop tie in shows are immediately canned. Thats what happened with rise for example.

It really wasn't a great movie though. It has too many elements, and no time to properly develop them. It all kind of falls apart. I mean, none of the Turtles movies are great cinema, but because the other ones are sillier, you can kind of embrace their flaws and accept them as guilty pleasures. But the 2007 movie's more serious tone means its mediocrity is harder to ignore.
The benefits of the movie animated is that they have to build all new costumes so would that would save some money. You could use camera moves that really camera couldn’t. You could have wilder stunts and no one would get hurt or die. They wouldn’t have spend money on permits to film on location The list goes on and you hopefully got the point.

So I think having a movie that focused on Michelangelo would have been a bit much to remove the other 3 turtles from much of the story.

If I'm not mistaken the live-action TMNT 1997 series was a continuation of the first 3 films. This series crossed over with the Power Rangers in Space setting in the PR universe.
I would have loved to see the one where Mikey has to save his family by finding a way to mutate them again. I don't know why but I always love story lines where the goofball immature one has to save everyone else on their own. Just one of the reasons why I like the Parasitica episode of the 2012 animated series. Its also a great way to develop the character.

Sad that the 07 movie didn’t get a sequel. I remember watching it couple years back and thought it was a kind of cool movie. It should’ve gotten a lot more respect than it did when it was released at the time. The story was interesting.
Jim Henson created the puppets etc for the first 2 TMNT movies but he passed away in 1991 hence why #3 looks different. They had to go with somebody else for third film. Also why in Secret of the Ooze they pay tribute to him in the credits.
Henson Studios Did Not go away with Jim's passing. By then his son Brian was running the company. the reason T3 went with somebody else was do to Budget.
If I was in charge of a new Turtles reboot, I would make it a gritty, live-action six-film period piece set in the 1980s. It would explore the turtles’ coming of age and their journey of self discovery as they open up to people on the surface world.
Now here’s the film outline…
TMNT - This would be your standard vigilante origin film, with the turtles befriending detective April O’Neil and going up against villains like the Purple Dragons, the NY Foot Clan, and the Shredder. The film would end with a Foot rebellion and Shredder retreating back to Japan to re-strategize.
TMNT: A Light in the Darkness - The turtles go up against Victor Falco and an army of rat catching robots called mousers. Casey Jones also gets involved.
Mutagenesis - This film would be a stand-alone origin film for the Mutanimals, a community of renegade mutants who escape TCRI and fight to survive in a dingy, crime-filled New York.
TMNT: Blood Covenant - The turtles and April O’Neil investigate the cause of recent mutant attacks, and find out that the Rat King, or a mutated Victor Falco, is responsible for them. This film would introduce the Utroms, a groups of alien researchers who founded TCRI. We would also see the turtles meet the Mutanimals.
TMNT: Eye for an Eye - This film would be the film where shit starts to hit the fan, as the Shredder returns to New York as the new leader of the Foot Clan. The turtles try everything to stop him, but they ultimately fail and get trapped in Dimension X by the dark warrior.
Fugitoid - A science fiction “Man on the Run” film about a fugitive scientist named Fugitoid. His mind gets fused with his robot assistant during a lightning storm, and the authorities of his home planet blame the robot for its creator’s death. While running away from the Osquet Federation, the Fugitoid befriends a group of hotshot alien teenagers called the Neutrinos, and they all work together to solve a mystery behind the nefarious crime lord Lord Dregg.
TMNT: A World Away - The turtles recover from their loss to Shredder and assist the Utroms in their war against the Triceraton Empire.
TMNT: United We Stand - The turtles return to Earth to take NYC back from the Shredder, whist also preventing his scheme with the Triceratons to destroy Earth.

They need to go back to the origins of the turtles. A dark, gritty movie where we see the whole story in Japan, with Hatmato Yoshi and Oroko Saki. The love story with Tang Shen. And then finally we get an intro to the turtles LIVE ACTION! As they were in the 1990 movie. Perfect soft reboot and sequel that pays homage to the first movie. This would work. Make the tone as dark and gritty as part one. This could be a one off film, like the mighty successful Joker!
This would’ve been interesting, a chance for Michelangelo to mature on his own and find a way to avenge or save his family.

I remember still being in elementary school when the 2007 TMNT movie came out, my dad showed me the very first trailer for it (the one where they’re running along the rooftops and ends with Mikey landing in the dumpster), at first I thought it was just a fan animation but when I saw a date at the end I got sooooo hyped. Definitely one of my favorite Turtles films

Today, if i were to reboot the franchise, I would start with an origin story about hamato yoshi and oroku saki. make it about a budding friendship turned blood-feud. Where yoshi is ultimately disgraced and forced to to leave japan. leaving easter eggs along the way for things to come, such as yoshi having a fondness for small creatures. Juxtapose that by Saki having a fascination with science, technology, and power of every sort. including ancient spiritual power.

I most would have liked to see the TMNT sequel about Michaelangelo. I'm always fascinated by stories about the Turtles losing their mutation and reverting back to ordinary turtles. I think ever since I saw the original miniseries as a kid and they almost got shot with the retro-mutagen gun. I thought what an awful fate; to have that, knowing what it's worth, and then have it taken away. What would that be like? It's deep, man!😁

The Kirby character looks a lot like Slash from mthe first TMNT cartoon series.
They did ultimately use the unstable mutation concept in the latter days of the 87 cartoon, with all of them basically mutating into four versions of the Raptor Raph concept art.
Yeah, I did not know about this until much later since I stopped watching the original cartoon at the start of season 8. Thanks to the DVD releases I corrected this oversight, I must say that I enjoyed this story development even if it was a little late in the series life span to have the proper impact. As a TMNT fan since 1987, I must say that I will glad take the final three seasons of the original cartoon over the third live action movie and The Next Mutation tv series any day.

Short Answer: Copyright.
Long Answer: TMNT (2007) was made in part and distributed by Warner Brothers. The TMNT license was bought by Viacom in 2009, meaning all future movies would be made by Paramount. Paramount can't use what Warner Brothers has made without paying a substantial fee, which why bother when even the flopped Out of the Shadows still made over two and a half times it gross, with the 2014 film making over six times its gross to make a sequel to a relatively obscure movie that no one has to make.
Another big factor in the 2007 CGI movie not getting a squeal was due to the animation company that made it, Imagi Studio's closing down. While TMNT (2007) did take in 95 million dollars at the box office, many of the other movies Imagi made after it failed pretty big at the box office. On February 5th 2010, Imagi closed its doors for good. It is a pity since I really enjoyed TMNT despite not seeing in the theatre. Also, I had heard that some story ideas had been discussed for a potential squeal, which would have the Shredder return as Karai teased at the end of the movie.

Cinema is a distribution company that does DVD and VHS selves primarily VHS because it was out by the 90s. He just went away . That said it wasn't a production company it was just a distribution company so they didn't owe anything with the rates for distribution so to say that they pulled out to Trimark we're going would be a disservice

For the part where Shredder gets put back together with Nano technology I could see Baxter Stockman being involved maybe he was forced against his will to put Shredder back together and maybe his mutation at the end of the second movie deformed him to the point where he wasn't going to survive in his present state so they would use nano tech to maybe flush out the Ooze and using Cyborg parts put him back together stronger and more threatening than he had ever been.

Here it is 2021, I'm 59 years old and would love to see a turtle movie made. Not sure about that Hallmark one. That just seems to be too tame a channel to have a turtle movie unless they all found LOVE some how. Other wise it might just of been a phishing. I have a theory that TMNT: Mutant Mayhem will set up a sequel that introduces a multiverse throughout the TMNT franchisees, very similar to what Into & Across & Beyond the Spiderverse did. & in my opinion they should, and I hope we get at least 3 or 5 sequels to Mutant Mayhem.
I was 26 when TMNT came out, I saw it in theatres and my main thought was 'Welp, this ain't getting a sequel'
I watched it as a kid and still watch it 35 years later. The original series is playing in front of me, with all 6 movies to follow after season 10.
I'm sure someone's pointed it out by now. But it looks like Kirby was going to be using butterfly swords. As Chinese weapons, I wonder if the parallel dimensional Turtles were all going to be Chinese based instead of Japanese based as we know them.
Though TMNT armaments tended to be swapped between Chinese and Japanese weapons as new iterations came out. What were you teaching them, Master Splinter?! :P

'Everyone' might've had the black box, the white box, and the yellow box back in the day, but not me. I never owned the third movie until Blu-ray, when buying a collection was the only way to get the first movie on the format. By the time that movie was released, I was a teenager, and the further they got from the tone and quality of the first movie, the less I cared. I was growing up, and the movies were being targeted more and more narrowly at kids. The maturity and edge of the first movie were gone. Even Secret of the Ooze, which I loved in 1991, was a tough slog for me by 1993. Turtles III? No thanks.
