When you realizes all awakening support conversations with opposite sex regarding Owain Severa and Inigo are possibly canonically didn't exist...or even worse they got divorced at the end of Awakening because of Odin Selena and Laslow Support conversations with opposite sex in Fates....
I see it just as a different timeline. A timeline where they didn't marry anyone but in another timeline they are married to someone and didn't leave for Nohr and Hoshido

Cynthia works well with male!Morgan, I think (which fits since he's the third member of the Justice Cabal), and Owain . . . I'm still trying to figure out a match for Owain. I kinda like it actually, it seems more natural like it's evident they have feelings for each other but they don't just jump to marriage (i know it calls them husband and wife in stats after but it lets you imagine that they actually dated beforehand)
The reason there is no romance vibe is because in canon, they're cousins; so long as Chrom marries Sumia, they can't get married. But I checked today after marrying Chrom to Olivia or whoever, both Owain and Cynthia can become husband and wife. The dialogue doesn't change but their relationship does. Hope this helps y'all.
