Honda swing arm psi lable says 42 rear and 36 front max load. With out max load and i am 135 pounds what would be a good range or psi to begin with. How low can psi be before the tire will not preform as intended?

10 000 km out of rosso corsa 2? Is this some kind of error? Most people get 5000km out of rosso 3 that is harder, sou softer should last less, not 2 times more. On what bike and on what conditions did you get 10 000 km on RC2?

Metzeler Sportec M7RR are a very good compromise in terms of price, grip performance and life...
In Indian road conditions, which are rather challenging, it gives about 10000-11000 km life with excellent side to side switchability during corner carving. It's also usable on track. Compares well with Pirelli Rosso Corsa though I haven't experienced Rosso Corsa-2.

  • @TheGarnerjustin73

I really like the feel and grip of the Power RS, the softer carcass actually makes for a smoother feeling ride and the black carbon shoulders feel planted when heated up. But i am disappointed that after about 3500 miles on a 600, the rear is almost down to the wear bars, so i estimate about 4000 miles before it "needs" to be changed. The front however, shows very little wear, so i think ill try a set of the Corsa 2's while its still summer here, but i wish there was more info was mileage from a 600 with them. Then for fall and winter, ill toss a set of Dunlop Q3+'s on my bike since they treated me so well through last winter. Edit: I got 4200 miles from a rear on a CBR600RR so the grip at this tire comes at a price, I've got right at 5000 miles on the front and I'm predicting another 1000 miles to the wear bars.

    • @jeevanchaukar
      @jeevanchaukar 4 ปีที่แล้ว

Your results can be down to either significant usage of rear brake or habitual high acceleration or a combination of those... Many of my friends experience a pattern where front lasts 13-14000 km, rear lasts only 8000 km..While for me, same brand tyres (Metzeler M7RR) last about 11000-10500 km at both ends (even wear!)..and our bikes too are same model!

Michelin is the most durable of the sport tires. I just put over 8600 miles on a rear Pilot Power 3 and 12,600 miles on the front. Currently running Power RS with just over 150 miles on it now. Riding mostly canyons, surface streets and some freeway. Occasionally, triple digit speeds on back roads. Kawasaki ZX9R.

Just happen to come across your channel and found it very informative, and i will subscribe because I like your honest review and presentation although I found you narrative a little rushed:/
Could I just add I have a 1997 VTR FIRESTORM with a set of Michelin ROAD PILOT 3 and I have been caught in a rain storm with over 3 inches of running water on the road and the bike and tyres worked perfectly, THANK GOD!
The dry road handling has also impressed me in the 1000 miles I have ridden on these.
I will be replacing my current tyres when they are worn out with the latest road pilots because surely the latest incarnations can only get better?
Best of luck with your channel and thank you for your guide, sir.

The Rosso *CORSA'S* are a Street/ Track day tire. The Rosso III's are pretty much just for spirited Street riding. To be honest there are better options for the money tho. Pirelli's supersport tires (including Rosso 3's) just wear faster than most other brands, without providing any additional performance. Ur paying extra for the name. In contrast, their SuperCorsa's have long been one of the best track day tires (its what built there Rep). Dunlop Q4's came out last yr. & raised the game tho, (they're both DOT legal, Race tires). ALso, if sum1 gets 10K Km from a Rosso-Corsa Rr., they''ve def got it installed on a F***ing bicycle, maybe an E-Bike... My friend got a puncture in his Power RS Rr. last May, shop replaced w RC II's they had in stock & Rr. was worn-out in Sept. w just over 2K miles on FZ-09. From day 1 he said he couldn't wait to go back to the RS's & he did.
Here's what I & guys I ride w a lot have ridden & would reco. I Had Rosso 3's for 2.5K, then upgraded to Q3+'s. More nimble, more feedback & more precise @ holding a line + Rr. doesn't slip when accelerating out of fast corners like R3's would. I only got 3200 mi & 1 track day on Q3+ Rr.w Z900, but replaced w same Q3+. Front should last me 2 Rrs. *Many riders avg. 5-6K on Q3+ Rr's*, I always ride hard. S22's r solid All-Round also, more neutral but good performance. Longevity, Idk. They're on friends R6 & big upgrade to the S20 Evo's.
Personally, I'd Reco 1. Q3+ for best performance. 2. S22's / Michelin RS's or GP's for maybe a few extra miles/ wet grip. Or if u just want a steal on some good rubber, the orig. Conti Sport Attacks are On Sale 4 like half price @ cycegear or RevZ Now! Either way, Don't wait. Prices are going up & sizes are selling out (C-Vid). Hope that helps. I'spent a ton of time researching, watching reviews, reading forums & discussing w other riders all 3X (too much 2BH). Q3+'s seemed 2b reco'd by any1 & every1 who'd tried em. Now I'm 1 of them too. Any ?'s, Lmk ✌ Btw, IME when it comes to things like Hi-Perf SS Tires or oem suspension vs Ohlins etc. It's hard to fully understand or articulate in words exactly how much better something can be, until u actually have a chance to experience the differences for urself & compare them

In Europe where he is from, cops can ticket/impound your vehicle for not being street legal. Including tires, lights, exhaust, power output (yes power out)etc. Cops have portable dynos where they can test your bike's power to see if it is within its license class. They got tier license system and tier bike power out put there where you are not allowed to ride a bike that is more power then you are license. Technically it is true for the US too, we call it a fix it ticket, for tires, lights, basically road safety related. Some states have a yearly vehicle inspection that checks for these things.

This review is stupid. Every tire is his favorite tire.

I'll never get Pirelli again. I ride my 959 like a dirt bike, lock up the back tire at lights. Constant wheelies. Pirelli leaves rubber on the road like crazy, I get 2k out of them. The M7rr I have on all my bikes.
