    20:50 - Vaati possessed the King and ordered the soldiers to keep everyone out of the castle, as well as to look for the Light Force. That's why the guards throw you out even though you're helping Zelda.

    The reason tingle’s brothers weren’t there was because you have to talk to tingle near the smith’s house first to make them appear.

      @@HimmelsDaemon As for Darknut, the most likely reason is that the Zelda 1 translation had an error (like with most English translations, especially in Zelda 1) and it was meant to be Dark Knight, as that's the approximate translation of their Japanese name.

      Eeeeeh, only if they can manage to not butcher it, like they did to Link's Awakening.
      No Nintendo & Grezzo, I love constant framerate drops, honest! 🙄 They should have just capped that game to 30fps if they couldn't get it to stay at a stable 60, all those slowdowns are awful.

    It would be cool to see a “how Nintendo intended” video on a Mario game (most likely 3D Mario since they’re not as linear as regular 2D Mario).

      when I ordered this guide online they accidentally sent me a mario sunshine guide but I had to exchange it for this one. I looked through it a little though and I'm unsure how a mario game would work for this

    To me, the 2 Advance games that absolutely stole my Pokémon thunder for literally hundreds of hours were Golden Sun & Golden Sun: The Lost Age. Man oh man, I still love going back to those games after all these years.

    Based on the image you shared in the video, you looked for Tingle in the wrong spot. Tingle can be found on the same screen as Link's house, just to the east.

    The tingle spawns are based on your kinstone fusion count.
    You need 25 fusions to unlock each of the four tingle brothers

      Personally, I like that he’s branching out. TH-cam is over saturated with Pokémon content. It’s nice to see a change of pace. Plus, with this “playing games as intended”series, he has the opportunity to showcase some hidden gems and overlooked games. There are a TON of amazing GBA, NDS, GameCube, Wii and Wii U games that were overshadowed by Nintendo’s Big 3: Pokémon, Legend of Zelda and Mario.

    The guide doesn't mistakes when name the enemy Lakitu. Zelda and Mario have share quite a few enemies throughout the years, specially in portable games (like no Gb, Gbc, Gba, etc). If you ever play Zelda Link's Awakening as Nintent, you will see some familiar faces, including a protagonist of a major Nintendo franchise as enemies and NPCs in the game

    Great video. Very fond memories of this game, as this was the first Zelda game I played, and one of the first games I got into. Surprised to see the guide didn’t provide more information on side activities during the main quest. Very surprised to see you got to Vaati with just 10 hear pieces

    It was really cool to see your Nintended format done with a non-Pokémon game; it'd be awesome to see more of these occasionally. It's really neat that whoever wrote the guide had a lot of fun with it's creation and weaved in as many jokes as they did. I wish I had this guide when I was younger; I don't think I ever reached the 2nd dungeon due to getting lost.

    Minish Cap killed my GBA SPs right shoulder button *lol* Whenever I have the ability to jump or roll in a game, this tends to be my favourite type of movement. Turns out, shoulder buttons are not build for near constant use.

    Wow this takes me back loved playing through minish cap as a kid. I do remember there being a lot of stuff you just had to figure out but i had more time back then so you would just figure it out eventually.

    Dude, Minish Cap is my favorite 2D Zelda game of all time (though Link's Awakening is a close second, I'm playing it for the first time). It's great to see someone else giving it as much love as I do.
    Edit: I've never beaten the final boss either, so this guide is double purpose: gives you a great video (not that you need a guide to make great videos when you're PaPaSea) and helps us both beat the final boss of the game for the first time.

    im surpised it never mentioned buying the boomerang in the shop before the 2nd dungeon
    also i dont think it mentioned the light arrows or remote bombs (optional but rlly cool)

    I used to think Darknut was a mistranslation but the Japanese name for them is apparently Tartnuc? At least according to the Zeldapedia, anyway.
    They’re also called Nimbusgarde in German which is just rad

    I really need to go back and play this game, it's so full of charm.
    And classic rock, hip hop and pop culture puns were all over the place in Nintendo Power and their strategy guides in the early~mid 2000s, and I have zero doubt the Zoids joke was intentional as well.
    Honestly, I love these classic strategy guides, I've actually been collecting a few :D
