We sold Alonso, our best goal scoring LWB and kept Chilwell because he is English. Our mid has no balance. Who is supposed to be the playmaker or ball distributor? Zakaria is out of form because they've left him to rust on the bench all this time. The club was just doing fine last season so I don't know what years you are referring to. We need a manager who play systems that complements the players he has and not what Man City are doing with players with different abilities
@@virtualcity721 Alonso didn't want to be here anymore. He wanted to join Barca asap. Also he was basically TAA on the LB, couldn't defend and was easily outplayed. Chilwell on the other hand is complete left back. Zakaria is out of form because he was injured and after that there were better than him

@@b4nterontilt245 Chillwell is not complete, he lack that pace. to catch up players or get easily dribbled past with body feints and quick bursts. He is more complete than Alonso. We need to upgrade that position, and with the RB position, Reece had hit a really bad form, but we now he can keep up with fast players and be a beast offensively. Getting the back up from Lyon was a smart move because you can't rely on Reece AT ALL. Not having fullbacks for three years has hurt this team bad. This board has messed the whole squad, like the comment states, overpriced overhyped players. No matter what coach. Calling Chillwell the complete LB is what has happened to us.

He definitely put in a lot of effort into this game and I think it had to do with the fact that he was facing Roberto De Zerbi, his former and favourite manager at this point in time hence he had to give his best.

was noticeable. that those rare moments when the pass was given to Mudrik, he greatly sharpened the game. since we move with the ball very quickly, but we play it very sharply, how many games have passed and in each match Mudrik receives 1-2 passes per game, this is some kind of garbage! You can't play like that on the flanks.

I feel bad for Lampard. He definitely should've spent more time coaching with a small team in a less competitive league first like what Xavi did. I'm feeling sorry for Enzo too, he deserved a better environment than this, a losing environment is not good for such a promising young talent. Best wishes for them in the next season I guess.
