I remember arguing with a Liverpool fan about who was going to win the league. As we were on our way to that 14 game run and catching up to them. I was very confident and so was he. Fortunately for us, I was correct.
I'm well in my 60s now and I have been going to the Bridge practically every other week, as we used to say before it became twice a week, since 1968 and home and away, including every European trip, from the 70s through to the mid 2000s, when I couldn't travel away any more due to severe arthritis. I still go home games as I only live a few minutes walk for me on the King's Road. I say all this because I wanted to comment that apart from Johnny Neal and Carlo, I haven't loved a manager as much as I have Antonio. This was a special team. We played some of our best ever football that season. I count myself blessed to have been at all the league games featured here. I must admit too, I got teary when John Terry said his own goodbyes at the end there and that shot of Roman. Those freekicks from Alonso. Stunning
_O time todo jogou muito. Destaques para: Diego Costa, Hazard, Pedro Willian e Courtois. Mas no conjunto da obra todos jogaram muito. Emocionante a despedida do John Terry. Lenda! Chelsea Campeão!_
Thank you for this compilation. Just watched this in 2024 and relived the moments n the entire season. 💙blue at heart
I swear diego costa is one of the best we ever had💙
Emotional moment for me, it was amazing. Diego, hazard, cesc, and willi they are amazing player. 😎
9:47 I remember this goal. From the 0.001% goal probability to 100% just in 5 seconds. This game has fate to finish 0-0, but only one could broke that line. Absolute world class from Diego Costa!
After watching kante's first goal for Chelsea against United, i knew he was gonna be a Legend. And a legend he became...
Costa , Hazard , Fabregas , Willian 💙💙
Watching this video just made me realize how much I love Chelsea 💙💙💙, heads up to all Chelsea fans 💙💙
Costa was a real beast that year... 👏
Take me back! I miss this chelsea so much!
Didn't notice at the time how important and a beast Pedro was that week.
Looking Back at these highlights seeing Costa, Pedro, Fabregas and all these great players is we haven't replace one of them yet especially Costa what a player he was always there at any moment a proper striker.....
It’s a crime how good costa was and how far down Hazards quality has gone
If only there weren't injuries
Miss this moment 😢😢😢
On a sad day like today, us fans have to hold onto the good memories until we create some more. I believe we'll be more than ok despite what the mickey mouse scum, the manure and especially the shit from White Hart Lane would like to happen.
All together now....CAREFREE............
21:07 middlesbrough' keeper couldn't keep his legs shut also love the fact that Conte celebrates EVERY goal like it was a champions league final winner
Can we just take a moment to appreciate what Pedro did during this season…Man was mad 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Diego costa a player to miss
Costa was a beast during this season. Physicaly marrauding, tap ins, long range and headers as well. Plus link up with Eden and Pedro too..that goal vs Southampton when he pins the dutch defender down says it all.
From 10th position from last season to champion in very next season….chelsea come long way up!!🙌
I nearly cry watching this 💙💙💙💙
Pedro is a sublime player
These guys just had one of the best ever team chemistry in footballing history 💙
#2016/17Chelsea
All players were involved but Hazard/Costa was at it almost every weekend
We were ruthless that season. We were STACKED that season: Costa, Hazard, Willian, Fabregas, Pedro, Kante...
Tbf our whole team was insane
