Today, I visited a Laksa stall.
After trying Asam Laksa and Siam Laksa, I was very angry because it was too good!!!
I haven't tried yet many foods in Malaysia but I am sure Laksa will be one of my best dishes.
I was very impressed by the taste and the owner who has been running this stall more than 45 years.
The tastes of Asam Laksa and Siam Laksa were both fantastic!

Yes... The uncle is really kind, courteous & a warm person. The shop is run by 2 brothers actually. This one in the video is the younger bro. They have been around for so long. Their Laksa Siam is their signature noodle. Sedap giler weh. I tried asking for their recipe, of course they wouldn't give it to me 😂😂😂. I dare say, you can never find Laksa Siam as good as Lum Kee's. I always order 2 packs of Laksa Siam & 2 more to dine in.

They have their own loyal patrons actually. They have been at that food court for so long already. The shop is run by 2 brothers, the one you see in the video is the younger brother. Their Siam Laksa is their signature noodle actually. Their Asam Laksa & Mee curry is equally good too. This place is in MPPJ food court in Section 14, Selangor. Go try it out peeps. To those Malay, don't worry. This shop is in halal section ya.
how i wish i could travel to Selangor right now, so i can taste the laksa. im a big fan of laksa. so far, ive try all laksa in sarawak and i want to try laksa in other state of malaysia, like laksa penang, laksa johor etc.

This food court is legendary. When I first moved to KL in 1999 I used to come and eat here a lot. Most of the stalls there still remain till today. My personal favorite is the Nasi Padang stall. The food is sooo gooood and the Pakcik is so friendly and price wise, so much fairer than other places.

I patron this place since I came to KL 35 years ago...the asam laksa is one of the best in PJ and selangor to my opinion..the taste is still the same..
The best by far...the Asam Laksa is exactly the taste from the ones in Penang & the Laksa Siam is unique in its own taste. Can't never find as good as Lum Kee
Chu-bro, amazing you found this area. I think it is very nice of you to give a shout out to this 80 year old uncle. Sometimes people like them who are the fabric of the community needs to be recognised more. What we eat from him is not just laksa but the cumulation of his 40+ years history in a bowl. This area is usually not visited by tourists or expats. My primary school (before you were born) was nearby. The satay there is also one of the top 10 in PJ. Well done Chu bro.

For your information, medan selera ss14, most of the stall there since year 1970++. Since there are no building around there until wht you see now. Mybe can try nasi ayam ipoh, nasi padang, sate kajang too. They are legends for my opinion. Sedap! Bring me! Haha.

Lum Kee is run by this uncle in the video & another brother. I wonder what happened to him. Maybe your uncle can ask this uncle the recipe for Siam Laksa for me🙏🏻🙏🏻. I can't never find in other places as good as Lum Kee's Siam Laksa. I guess there are many versions of Siam Laksa, to me Lum Kee's is the best by far

Asam laksa is my favourite food but my Korean friends didnt like the fishiness. Couldnt agree more when you said it's to die for. The taste is one of the kind!
woah havent had a good Assam Laksa in ages. Not easy to find these days due to the tedious preparation work.
This kind of "noodles" we usually call it as laksa noodles. The more transparent it is the less rice flour... More potato flour and sago. Koreans might like this texture more, chewy. I like the old school ones, more rice flour like meehoon so the soup stick to the noodle better. Hehe
