Magomed Ankalaev vs Jon Jones at LHW would be interesting. Jones is the more creative striker but Magomed is better with the basics and he has very good movement. Jan had the power to hurt Magomed’s legs but Jones doesn’t and his legs are not built as strong as Jan either.

Sure Tom hits hard but Jon never had a trouble with hard hitters. So i would say Tom is well rounded has a good skill of every area in MMA but he is not on the level of Jon in graplling. Just becouse he and Sergei can style on these other fat heavyweights won't convince me that they then gonna beat Jon. This is a Jon who looks to wrestle. In his last few fights in 205 barely or didn't even shot a takedown and was very striking heavy that's why obviously he didn't had a great performance it was same with Gustaffson the first time who credit to him was able to stop Jon's graplling who tried many times. Then in the rematch when Jon was fresh took down Gustaffson and Alex was helpless. Also experience and everything is on Jones's side. He won't get into a scrap like Sergei couse that's not how Jon fights. He can keep a long distance work with kicks also his graplling threat will make his striking work even better despite Tom being a more efficent striker due to his power and speed. But Jon has good enough striking defence and lenght + the avareness to not get just cliped and put out in 1 round. He would definitely show up careful work the kicks and if Tom tries to close the distance and land bombs Jon has the opportunity to clinch up shoot under or trip Tom ect. Other guys don't have that ability that Tom has fought. And we never really see him go against a grapller like Jon and do great. Even if he has the skills we didn't get to see and i will go off of what i have seen from Tom. And Alex is not a hard fight for Jon. Jon has the chin the lenght the defence and the respect for that power he won't get KOd like an idiot. And just becouse Alex was barely able to not get subed by Jan that doesn't mean Alex has the level of graplling defence to fight off Jon from his back or anywhere they hit the mat. If it was a kick-boxing fight sure Alex is a hard fight. But it's not. And also Alex plays at a distance doesn't really blitzes in like Gustaffson or Reyes ect who could get thro the range with speed. So no Alex isn't a difficult fight for Jon. Plus Sergei only really has boxing and that's not really enough to beat Jon. Like when was ever a time where a flat footed large frige of a boxer gave Jon any problem? Never Sure Jon can be hit but those guys have the speed to close on Jon. Sergei doesn't have that. It would be simular when Jon fought Rampage.
