Hi Tracy! Such a good tutorial! I love the skirt. ❤️
Can I know what needle you used and the setting you used for stretchy fabrics? I really struggle sewing stretchy fabrics and I don't think it's my machine's fault.

I used a twin needle. If you watch my sewing for beginner's video th-cam.com/video/Fw3o9KNoQKE/w-d-xo.html I go over how to sew stretch fabrics in depth.

How long would you say it took in total to make this?

I love this tutorial. I am a little confused though. It looks as though you measured the skirt at an angle and I believe you said 39”. Is this correct? Was the back rectangle for the skirt 39” in length as well? Thank you.

3:14 What kind of fabric is that?

It is some sort of spandex blend not sure what type exactly. It's a lightweight 4 way stretch if that helps.

Do you still have your costume? Are you willing to sell it? Or do another on commission? I can’t sew (I do want to learn but def don’t have the time to do all of it before Halloween).

Thank you very much! And I have another question. Do you know the weight of the fabric you used? Has it been either light or heavy?
