I have been trusting in the Lord for many years because I had a narcissistic mother I was raised in toxic family, I was the black sheep. When I finally found the Lord I tried to stay in toxic relationships and it affected my growth in God . Now that I understand what happened to me I have been reading my word to know what God is doing in my life. Thank you for your help.
Oh my goodness, you are telling my story. It's almost scary😭😭💔 I was also molested as a young girl and opened up to porn as early as 4 or 5, I believe. All I know is my pain caused me to run away from the only one who could take away all my shame and save me. Like I tell a lot of people I feel like I've defiled myself to no end and I feel like I brought a curse on my life. I don't know if I've blaspheme the holy spirit or not but I feel close to it. Unforgivrness, pride, along with a few other things makes me feel like the thief on the cross. I know a human being can't save me and I know it's clear that I need to work out my own salvation with fear and trembling but I just thought I'd share. I couldn't quote a Bible verse to save my life except maybe bits and pieces of psalms and maybe a few other books but that's it. I feel so ashamed because I know better but because of what happened to me I ran and still continue to run away from Jesus. I know sorry doesn't cut it now but I feel exactly the way you do.

My brother did an act on me (sexual) when I was 1 or 2; it definitely feels icky and I wouldn't wish anything like that on anyone!!! I do absolutely forgive but it's all the strength of Abba and none of me. Grew up, got away from my family; got into hard drugs for years and even prostitution for a few months but knowing I've been completely washed clean, forgiven and made new and no one would ever know; I don't even smell like smoke HALLELUJAH LORD 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I assure you that you are not like the man on the cross that rejected Jesus because he was a proud thief. Once you accept yourself and the things that happened to you then you will be able to accept God’s love and stop running away. You need therapy. Watch the videos I mentioned.
