My 2024 HR-V falsely slammed on my brakes two times now while driving without an obstacle in front of me. I reported it to the NHTSA. This is bad and it is possible to wreck as a result of have a heart attack from the surprise.
@@mjlbkent The manufacturers love adding the tech because it gives them a safety advantage however we pay more money and the tech drives us crazy and/or can cause a dangerous situation.
They’re in the 2025 civics as well, random morning the car falsely slammed on the brakes on a freeway with not a soul to be seen, I’m extremely worried about the chance of an accident.
This system will increase that chances of you getting rear ended when you car automatically slams on its brakes for false warnings. Turn it off. I have had multiple false warnings. Driving on a sharp curved road that splits in two, left lane continues left and right lane has a stop sign close to the split in the road. a car was ahead at the stop sign after the split and i continued to the left, but the car thought i was going to ram into the stopped car and slammed on the brakes. Luckily there were no cars behind me.
this is the worst feature ever...it didnt work when i side swiped someone that came out of nowhere in front of me, but it triggered multiple times already when i was changing lanes, almost caused an accident every single time.
I was driving on the highway and a plastic bag flew in front of my car snd the CMBS was activated. I nearly caused a 10 car pile up
Parabéns evolução de CMBS aos carros🎉
I love Honda ❤
Very good

Same, when I try to turn the feature off it doesn't allow me to, it says setting selection is incomplete and leaves the option selected.
My 2021 I just bought used, does this randomly

Yup, happened to me twice now- 2 days in a row. I’m glad I can turn this feature off. It’s dangerous!!
