    I cover...
    - Why newsletters build trust and credibility for your brand, and how it attracts customers to buy from you.

    As always I am blown away by your content! Thanks for being so transparent with us. I am trying to learn how to embody the 80/20 rule. I think the fear of giving away too much is what is holding me back, but your advice on remembering you want to help and educate folks so that they begin to trust your work, made sense! You are a light!

      Definitely! Sharing the work we love generously attracts the right people to us. People don't pay for information - they pay to work with people who can support them to navigate doing it for themselves. So sharing the way is a grat seed planter and when they're ready to work with you, they will!

    Hi Lydia, thank you for your video, very inspiring.
    Do you have any specific advice for artist newsletters by any chance?

      There are a few ideas mentioned in the video that could be great for artist newsletters! Like sharing the process of how you create art and where your inspiration stems from. Or a story of working with a client for an art piece and how you created the final piece for them. You could even get creative and feature specific themes of your art with a curated music playlist to add to the 'vibe' :)

      I also may have mistakenly given tips for artists and realized you're music! :). But it could be quite similiar in how you engage your audience too...share your inspiration, sneak peek of lyrics, other artists that inspire you, something unique you do to create your music, ask for people to vote on instrumentals you're producing.

    Hi there ,how best can you write a news letter that's not email oriented

    Thank you so much for this video and I have learned so much! I really like the simplicity of it all. Im a visual person and because my brand is creative, adding imagery brings ties in the newsletter to what I am speaking about. It brings in a comfort vibe to it. I receive alot of news letters and there is something about adding imagery to the picture, even if its one makes it really engaging and special. I haven't done my newsletters yet, still currently doing research- but ill comeback to report!

      I'm a visual person too and love adding images to my newsletter to tell a story. It totally makes sense for you as well to incorporate your creativity into your newsletters that'll help them stand out in your signature brand. Happy creating!

    These are great tips Lydia! I'm looking for ways to refresh my newsletter. I too send them weekly with my videos (pre-recorded and live) but feeling a bit stagnant so I really like your "recap" idea!

    • @Screwthecubicle
      @Screwthecubicle  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm glad it was helpful to you, Kamara! The recap newsletter is my favourite to write. It takes a bit longer, but my audience loves reading it (and I get to show a bit of behind the scenes of my life) :)
