I have this, exactly the same symptoms and doctor experiences. WoW!!! I have cervical pain always. Could not drive do to dizziness and that would cause extreme anxiety which is not me at all. Even same slight case of covid so I was pursuing covid detox.

I have been dizzy ever since my cataract surgery. It now occurs to Nome that my neck may have been put in a not so good position, since the only thing my gut tells me is that my issues are neck related. My doctor wants me to have more physical therapy, but I have been insisting on a neck xray BEFORE, ANY THERAPY,. When I had a few sessions, I had to skip a couple due to my husband's dementia. Each day is a different mountain or molehill. I went to a Chiropractor, who I insisted, find the source of my dizziness. He took an xray and it showed a curve in my cervical and thoracic areas. I have intermittent neck stiffness, and discomfort, and my body leans to the right. I figured out it was probably my purse, which I carried on my left shoulder, and I now use a body type purse, so I can switch shoulders. I know this issue is NOT related to the ears, because I have done the Eppley maneuver over, and over, and it does not help. Such a Maze!

I feel her pain and am very happy to see her get good help. Myself have been suffering the same issues and much more for 4 or so years, it's so frustrating going to multiple doctors and specialist and emergency room visits then being told that they don't know or it's in your head or miss diagnosis. I wish my neurologist would send all my medical files to Dr Houser for a second opinion. I was a Industrial Construction Inspector that has had my life turned upside down.

@Ko Cho One neurologist said it was from stress, the last neurologist first said it was from headaches then said it was from pinched nerves. My primary doctor said it was from me worrying that their is something wrong, self inflicted. 🤡The only person that agrees with me that something is wrong is the psychiatrist.

@@Nick-dw3svthe hardest part of healthcare is the rampant misdiagnoses, you could visit 3 different doctors who all 3 give a different diagnosis... The human body and mind is so complex and at end of the day each person has to be their own healer and advocate since they experience their body from the inside out, a 3rd party (doctor) is only observing from outside and seeing your symptoms manifested for the short 1 hour office visit

This is interesting. As soon as I get dizzy, it causes me to panic which then triggers light sensitivity, sound sensitivity, heart palpitations, throat/nose airways feel like they’re closing in making it hard to breath, feel a thumping in my brain and of course the feeling of passing out.
    Anyone else experience this?

It's sickening how many chiropractors actually worsen people's cervical instability, even if they think it might be risky since it's a profit-driven business they will go ahead and perform a high velocity low amplitude rotation of the cervical spine...and most health insurance providers will approve and essentially co-sign these types of treatments

    • @melissam33

I believe the anxiety is caused by dizziness. Lots of people suffer with anxiety that is caused from long term ailments aka health anxiety. My anxiety was brought on from chronic tension headaches, muscle tightness, and pains in my chest due to muscular issues. It is a horrible way to live and a vicious cycle.

When there’s instability seen on a dmx, are there cases where due to the muscles tightening from the ligament injury that stiffens the neck causing it to appear normal even though there may actually be instability? how accurate is a dmx when the muscles have tightened?

    • @CaringmedicalProlotherapy
      @CaringmedicalProlotherapy  ปีที่แล้ว +2

Hi AT- good question, and there are times when a muscle relaxer or injections to prevent muscle guarding are performed, if that is suspected. The DMX is only one tool to use to put the puzzle together. So, the clinician has to really take all aspects into consideration if there is suspected instability that is not showing up in the usual way on DMX.

  • @brad6742

Being hunched-over like she would do also gave me partial symptom relief in college. I wonder if she has a vascular malformation in her neck or posterior fossa that triggers intermittently. Also, I wonder if she can hear crunching sounds when flexing/extending her upper neck during symptoms but not otherwise, which would implicate a vessel malformation. I suspect there could be a small CSF-venous fistula in her spine that only leaks under pressure when standing/upright, inducing a small pressure gradient between the head and spine. This, coupled with venous congestion (i.e. posture induced compression and/or vascular malformation), pushes her cerebellum into the brainstem (via venous expansion/engorgement) and impedes csf flow due to arachnoid compression or sticking(under csf depletion conditions).

Hi Jill - that's a great question. We would start with CCRT. Caring Cervical Realignment Therapy combines individualized protocols to objectively document spinal instability, strengthen weakened ligament tissue that connects vertebrae, re-establish normal biomechanics and encourage the restoration of lordosis. This is our treatment method of moving towards putting a patient’s cervical spine back into place. Hope this helps!

Chronic fatigue my neck hurts everyday the muscles are tight I have hemplegic migraine with aura, but even without a migraine attack I have headaches everyday, blood pooling in my legs
Pins and needles all the time in different parts of my body,
I literally want to give up as I can’t work I don’t go out much anymore I suffer anxeity the past two years since my life became housebound.
I’ve seen nuro cardiology endocrinologist chest an pain clinic physio chiropractor osteopath acupuncture the list goes on what I have tried.
I had a traumatic event to my neck when I was in my teens I fell backwards of a wall an hit my head in concrete but I recovered well, just before I got sick five years ago I was physically assaulted, my neck was compressed an a few days later my face started having electric shock type spasms that would shoot up my neck an into my face, this happened often turned my head a certain way an it would trigger it and then a headache lasting days,
    The mri was normal
It progressed which is why I went down chiropractor then a few months later the pots symptoms and digestive issues happened I’ve not been able to get to the root cause of everything or help I’m on tramadol an codeine but that isn’t helping anymore,
It almost feels like my head is too heavy for my body if that makes sense I have to lie down a lot as I can support my head for long periods of time as the pain is to much
I don’t know what or where to go next apart from surrender
