I remember this year. Paul Han had just rocked the stage with what soon be the beginning of his 1A dominance, and Hiroyuki was very nervous. After this performance and final score came out, I think he still beat Paul (2nd) by like 20+ points, which means every judge thought he won hands down. Such a legend. Truly the GOAT of 1A!
