Thank you. It would be pretty awesome and will be HIGHLY APPRECIATED if you can maybe do a side by side review of the BenQ GW one you did about a year ago, with this new BEnQ RD. one. Not sure if you still have that GW one? I bought the GW3290QT one as a result of that video of yours and would really like to know how this new one compares in terms of text quality etc, if at all possible. Thanks again for making this.
I no longer have that monitor, which is very good. If you remember, I gave it away in Florida. This one is definitely better, but it is more expensive of course! I noticed the image quality upgrade right away.
I take a small issue with reading the manual. It was nerds that actually "originated" the term RTFM. Perhaps after the unboxing and setup because nerds do things out of order and not necessarily linearly!
Exactly... I always read the manual... If I had to assemble something I highlight things I'd miss, and I also organize the parts before I start... I learned this the hard way...
Thanks for the review. In the 1990s, Valve, ID Software, and Epic Games took off. Were the developers behind these companies so different from you and us ?
Usually in paid videos they said once "this is not a paid video, they just send it to me for free", but in this one I counted 4 times this phrase. So it should definitely be not a paid one, for sure. The review was not so informative as I was looking for. Yes, it is for programmers, they say it in the specification too. Although, it was helpful to hear that the text looks good. Maybe mentioning it is a 160PPI and a closer/zoom video would be even better for this detail. Also - round table? I was working at such once, it was awful. Dont get me wrong, the review is positive. So far I find few reviews from Indian guys and can not understand almost anything they say.
Pretty hefty price for it. It’s a good monitor with the settings catered for coding; mainly a light/dark mode. Also, a wide ratio to get more lines of code on the screen with the ability it stand vertical. Mostly all modern monitors can do what this one does for less. 🖖
I bought Xiaomi A27Q 27" and I am happy so far. It is 1440p @100hz IPS. I paid only $120 incl shipping. Well worth the money. Haven't had issues with eyestrain, and it has eye care.
I bought this monitor and using this with my MacBook and Windows laptop. With Windows it works great but with Macbook it doesn't display in the correct aspect ratio (as this one has 1.5 vs 1.77). I don't see the right aspect ratio in display settings. What resolution is it rendering at for you?
"I'm not making money on this, they just sent me the monitor". Well, they sent you a monitor for free so I don't feel that's entirely true? Also, I'm inclined to feel that in general if you review something for free you may feel like you have to be more positive than usual hehe. Ty for review tho.
I can see your thinking ... but 1, I have given away previous monitors sent to me, and 2, the dollar value of the monitors are too low have an influence on me - the are well below $1000.
Thanks for this review! This model came out right after I bought my GW2790QT 1440p white monitor. I was like damn! Maybe I'll get this model later.
I’m still enjoying my BenQ GW2790QT, thanks again for the recommendation!
It's an excellent monitor for 3D design / Engineering work as well.
(Alias / Inventor / Solidworks)
I bought two of these this Monitor is great for Programming.

I read manuals too. I read datasheet of electrical components too (I can do basic PCB stuff). I like technical documents.
