Can you please explain the malaria situation do you see loads mosquitoes in these resorts

Hi, thanks for the comment. Fortunately, we hardly saw any mosquitoes at all. We were lucky it wasn’t raining at all and also in my village we stayed there for weeks and just the occasional mosquito here and there. We had carried mosquito sprays and bite sprays too and so if we knew we were staying outdoors especially in the evening, we would spray our feet especially.
Also, we had gotten anti malaria tablets, the ones you start taking a few days before travelling. Which didn’t go very well with me and so abandoned those.
During the last 2 days my son got about 5 bites but not from any hotel we were staying and he still was ok.
It’s worth checking the rain seasons before you travel. X
