HW questions ---> QZ3 ---> I think there will be 7 resonating structures, we will ignore the structures with positive charge on oxygen as it is highly unstable. We will see carbocations will be
formed on carbons of benzene
QZ4 ---> In this we will see that BL of a and c is same but that of b is different
QZ6 ---> Total - 675..........5RS for first, 3RS for second, 3RS for third, 3RS for fourth and 5RS for fifth structure. Hence 5x3x3x3x5=675

Why is the bond length of a and c is same and b is different? There is partial double bond on each of them so they all should be equal.

bond length of pi bond is less than sigma bond, so b has two pi bond and one sigma,while a and c has 1 pi and two sigma bond so order should be a=c>b

1:21:04 *Comparison of bond length* is given as a = c > b as bond order of bond b is the highest (5/3) and of rest two is lesser (4/3) and as bond order is less for greater bond length this is the correct order. Thanks bhaiya for this lecture. Watched and liked two of them in one go.
