Ian Pout is the owner of a store called Teddy Bears of Witney in a small town near Oxford in Britain. It was founded 25 years ago and has found international acclaim among the fans of the cuddly toys.
This is a lovely video. I've wanted to go to this shop ever since I first heard about it. I've been a serious collector for about 25 yrs. I collect mostly Mohair Bears: Steiff, American, Merry Thought, Vinage & Antique, Artist made & bear related items. It must be great to work in that lovely shop with all those wonderful teddies being so close to you. If it were me, I'd never have a paycheck.....I'd just be working to pay off a bear ! This is a top-o-the-line shop. Mr. Pout knows exactly what he's doing. It would be quite hard to leave the store without making a purchase of one, or two, or three....
This is an awesome Teddy Bear Shop:)! I have collected Teddy Bears that I have received over the years as gifts. I like your historical Museum like collection, especially Othello, the Black Teddy Bear that was made for the Memory of The Titanic.
