David Bowie Is my all time favorite, Saw him in concert 3 times, each time so different didn't hear this one live, you have to give him credit what a talent, RIP David😊✌️ Peace and Love ❤ Gary your 70 year old forever Young Hippie Gary 💃🕺 Great Reaction👍
This was probably never played on the radio, yet is one of my favorite top 5 Bowie songs. The original recording, but he re-recorded it for Heathen and I think he realized what an incredible track it is. This version is gorgeous too.
At first listen I agree with Dominika and for the same reason she explained. He can't see the road, then he can't see the bridge, then he can't see the water. It's a suicide song and the saddest line is "And the world if full of life, Full of folk who don't know me, And they walk in twos or threes or more" He feels isolated yet he can see connections all around.
Great choice, one of Bowie's lesser known masterpieces. One he liked so much he re-recorded it 30 years later. A brilliant revocation of how small, everyday things become larger through the mask of depression.
Never heard this. Stunning!! My favorite will always be CHANGES!!! SOOO many great tunes from the 1970's alone. This is One of the bonus tracks from HEATHEN great álbum... Jordan Ruddess from Dream Theater plays keyboards and Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel - King Crimson) plays bass here! ❤❤
This is a new version (published in 2021 and recorded in the year 2000) of a song he published in 1970 so the lyrics are from that period when he wasn't famous. I don't know who suggested this song but there are way more important and great songs in his discography to listen to. Try Sweet Thing from 1974 or Aladin Sane from 1973 or Golden Years from 1976 or Heroes from 1977 for instance. If you are more adventurous you can try Look back in anger (1979) you could also react to Life on Mars (1971) the version in studio that Dominika probably already knows or even better the version live from the 1983 Serious Moonlight tour which is rarely reacted to but it's great.
A compassionate reaction. You are always interested in the music. This is from the album 'Toy', released about 20 years after it was recorded around 2021. The song though is very much older than that.
David Bowie is one of my all time favorite singers etc. having said that this song would surly not be on my play list. It feels like he's depressed or the person in the song is. I think of depression like playing with a poisons snake. If you found one in your house you would get rid of it as soon as possible. So I don't like to play with or keep depressing songs around me, movies, books, etc. everyone has their own ideas about things.
I enjoyed your reaction, but can't say that I have heard this song before . Here is a song from 1969 , that will never be heard by bands from now a days , It will make you feel good. By Crosby , Stills ,Nash and Young. Carry on th-cam.com/video/nP0VBB7BO64/w-d-xo.html I hate to see you guys sad

Bowie has a very unique voice. It seems much deeper in this song.
Love it
LOVED David Bowie!!!❤❤❤❤❤
I love him still. Will forever.

Beautiful. I don't think the song is depressing- just an exploration of the feelings of depression.
Never heard this before, I love it
It's on the 'Toy' album, which was released about 20 years after it was recorded.
@@davidcopson5800This version but the original version is on “ Space Oddity”.

Yeah, I'd have loved to have heard the early version, but this is great, too.
David Bowie was beginning to accept his baritone in this version. It's as good as the original for me.

SUGGESTION: ALIZEE - MOI LOLITA - LIVE - (HQ) 141 mln views/15 years ago. A female singer with a BANGER song.
A lot of his songs (like this one) are interesting and deep, but I'd chose SLOW BURN as s song for more frequent listening. :)
