    I couldn't thank you and your channel enough for all the learning. I'm really into traditional style and I'm trying to do my own stuff with this style, but I'm still at the beginning. I try to do stuff without copying it but at the same time, traditional style requires some rules and I'm still learning it. For now I'm trying tutorials to learn how old school, neo trad, basically traditional tattoos work so that I can start to make my own drawings and designs. I'm a visual artist trying to be a future tattoist so... wish me luck! I'll study all your tutorials (or as many as I can) on paper and also fake skin and tag you on them. For real, thank you so very much.

    My soul died when you did the link on the face outside the lines 😭 I would’ve died on the spot if I had made that mistake. Do you have advice to not be such a perfectionist in the self sabotaging type of way?

    • @thebrokenpuppet
      @thebrokenpuppet  3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Haha its a hard one, I tend to just play dory from finding nemo in my head where she keeps saying just keep swimming! In all seriousness though it's just understanding that it's just part of being human, even the best make mistakes and those details are proof or it being human and not just a manufactured piece of work. In away it gives the work life and makes it real. Perfection is the direction for the journey not the end goal and destination.

    you should try taking the video from the top as the angle makes it kinda hard to follow certain lines. just my two cents.. nice vids otherwise, keep it up ! :)

    • @thebrokenpuppet
      @thebrokenpuppet  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks, I used to do that but because of being left handed I tend to lean my hand over too much and alot of the time ended up cover up what I was drawing, at this angle you can see everything I do

    Zoom the camera out and use better angling please. It’s hard to see what your doing because it’s too close.
