To be honest when I have fish and chips take away to go home with I ask for my fish and chips separately so the vinegar doesn't go on my fish, I find that it makes the batter less crunchy, anyone els do the same??

Matt you have got to go to Godfreys in Harpenden Hertfordshire nere st Albans, some of the best fish and chips in the uk! you can eat in or take away and they got great pies and a banging curry sources, plus a great chinses across the road from it to review too!
Wolfies and Athena B on boundary road are the only two. Wolfies is very good at the stuff that's not fish and chips, pies and particularly the gluten free sausage battered in normal gluten batter.

That wet batter which fell off is not the best and u prefer the airy thin crispy type. Chips were not crispy. Curry sauce was a fail. Probably a 7.5 at best. You wimped out a little mate. The pie looked really good and quality of the fish is high. However looked like they ruined the fish by the cooking and batter.

Putting vinegar on your fish is a big no no for me!
