No, it doesn't detach unfortunately but I sometimes hide it inside the bag. Otherwise I drape it over the bag like an extra chain accessory. 🙂
what can you fit inside?
It fits an iPad mini comfortably. There is space for essentials (small / large wallet, keys, makeup pouch, phone and even compact umbrella)
