As much as I want one of these I could never bring myself to destroy multiple Woody’s to make one custom. I may or may not believe toys come to life still. This does look AMAZING though and I hope that a toy company does replicate this model because it is the best Woody doll I’ve ever seen. Great work!

You’re doing gods work! As a kid I couldn’t tell you how many woody toys I broke trying to make the pull string loop smaller, or how many times I’ve accidentally torn the heads off trying to make the head more floppy. You’re realizing many peoples childhood dreams, and it’s beautiful! Also I think basing him off the Toy Story 2 model was a good choice 👍

This is truly amazing! One thing I noticed is that he didn’t have the burn mark on his forehead from the magnifying glass. Even though it doesn’t show in toy story 2, I just thought I’d point it out. Other than that, this is amazing! This could pass down for generations in your family, maybe one day ending up in a museum. That’s all I have to say, great job on the accuracy!

as a 17 year old watching this, really brings back memories and sort of makes me want to do this myself because when i first ever got a a woody when i was younger in like 2009 or 2010 i remember getting the collectors version and always wished that it looked exactly like the movie did, they should really hire you and release it again!

I think one thing about this body that’s perfectly accurate are the colors, they’re much less saturated which is more accurate to the movies, especially his shirt which is now a lot more vintage and toned down.
Yes you’re right. I bought the body used and in rough shape so once I put the body in the laundry, touched up paint on vest and dyed the jeans it really made it pop like the movie and give that old worn and used feel it was perfect.

I can’t make them to sell, it wouldn’t be legal for me to do, also this Woody cost me $500 to make it’s not realistic. Also takes so much money and time that I don’t have.

Yeah it wasn’t planned it just happened. My pursuit was always a movie accurate Woody so I figured it would land one of them in the process ha.

Really nice! For a movie accurate Woody, I would have taken Toy Story 2 as the standard as well. If I force myself to find something to nitpick - the scarf isn't folded at the top :P For Buzz, I still prefer the just slightly derpy-eyed face from the first movie, and I don't think I've seen any figure capture his face as well as this one does Woody's.

I think this perfect I just wanted to see my dream woody. This is so good and I think the felt idea was great.
Last year I tried to mod my Woody doll but I just bust the head, so I just pretended I didn't
do anything. But the
Head kept wiggling so I just hid it under my blanket. But my mom saw his arm,she pulled it and saw that the head was broken, she told me she'd try to fix it. After a week or two the head still wouldn't get on.so he threw him away. After all that that, I watched today I grew up. The first one to pop up was the this video.
I make video tutorials to help fix these things if you need help let me know

Has anyone attempted modifying the shoulders so that they aren't tapered to his side? That was my immediate major complaint with every Thinkway figure- Woody's Arms should be in a T Pose.
Yeah no one has done that modification yet but maybe one day…

Few things I noticed were off though: The eyebrows should be a bit closer to the center, the holes on the hat need to be filled in. Also, is the head squeezable? Oh, and the display case is a bit too narrow I think, but it's functional so it doesn't really matter much. As long as if it keeps dust away from Woody!

I think he looks 1000 times better than the previous one. I can see the proportions are more accurate. Although I liked the hair better(minus too bright hair strands). I would put it as the 2 of the best Woody's I've ever seen. The best one for me is from Stan's Workshop. 100% hand sculpted piece. The accuracy is crazy on that one.

How did you do the head the same way, I did it but I used the Woody from Toy Story 4 with his mouth closed, something was left the same but I still want to make Woody from scratch It is a challenge that I have had since I was 8 years old.
This accurate head was designed inside a computer and then 3D printed, sanded and painted by hand.

i have a couple questions as i am going to make a woody too with my cloud pattern one,how long did it take for you to do the voicebox,and would it be cheaper to use a soft and hugggable woody head or a resin printed one,the ts4 one is really expensive,so how much did you pay for the head and hands

This looks great! If i had to nit pick at all, the head is just a sliver too wide. The eyes should be slightly closer together and sunken in just a smidge more. Honestly, it's just a nitpick, this is a fantastic piece. Suggestion, add some stuffing in the hips and bottom area. Also, i absolutely LOVE the pull string.

Just because woody doesn't have a toy mode fase doesn't mean that he isn't movie accurate
That’s true when he is in alive mode thinkway toys did a good job with toy story collection woody. Me wanting toy mode was a personal preference since we never got that from a toy company I made one myself. I love movie props and movie accurate things but that’s just me.
Thinkway needs to take notes. This is what toy story fans want
