Ooooh epic and so nostalgic! This one os super impressive. I love the soundtrack! So much going on! It made my day. I still marvel at the fact that you are your own orchestra! Congratulations! It is so great that you included footage of the film. I really like that, because it brings back those memories and make the experience more immersive. If I may be allowed some feedback - I know I’m just a random dude on the internet… So take it with a grain of salt… I do wish that you included some small glimpses of video close ups of certain instruments that play the lead line… Like the violin, recorder, French horn, a percussive hit in this case just just here and there to to showcase them a bit more and show where the focus is would have helped. It is more of an editing thing than a musical thing. The main lines feel a bit “hidden” in the orchestra (visually on screen). Even though it is massively impressive to see all of the instruments play at once, it is a little bit difficult to follow along. Especially on mobile phone where every “icon” is a bit smaller… I struggle a bit to see on my phone, but on my pc it is a bit easier. I would suggest something like you used to do in some of your older covers such as form God of War. Just here and there some close ups…. Even if the rest of the orchestra “disappears” for short moments to make way for the melody instruments. But then just with the film parts added, like in your new video format on top. That said. I can only imagine it is very difficult to edit a video of this magnitude together with so may takes and layers… So well done in any case. I applaud you! You are my favourite TH-cam discovery in recent years. As far as the sound and your arrangement goes - it is out of this world! Hats of to you sir! You can be so proud! And also to the wonderful lady doing the choir parts! You two make a good duo! All the best.
Thank you Dirk, you're always so kind ! As for your feedback, it is much welcome of course ! Actually I thought of adding close-up shots of certain instruments/groups of instruments, but since there is the movie, I did not want to interfere. This scene in particular is very dynamic and there are already many things to consider, without adding cuts in my editing. That's why I made my shorts/reels on Instagram, to show what each instrument does (well, partially at least), but I understand if you think it was not enough ! Don't worry, I haven't abandoned my "classic" video format, but for now I want to explore more of this stuff, with the movie onscreen ;) Thanks again for your support, I always wait for a comment of yours each time I release a video and I am never disappointed 😁
@@LeDecompositeur Oh sure, really just take what I said about the close up edits with a grain of salt. Part of art is to explore. It is just one drop in a sea of opinions… I totally love that the film is there… I can imagine it is difficult to edit so many instruments together but not detract from the film, which is the main feature… Too many focal points and it becomes a distraction. Over all the audio, and video format was done so well. I think this was really one of your best! (So far! I have a feeling you’re going to keep on surprising us). The shorts you made where you showcased the various instruments/sections directly were a good compromise. I did enjoy seeing those little details. You can be very proud of what you accomplished. I don’t think there are many people on this earth that can do what you do. Keep going my friend! I’ll be here all the way cheering you on! All the best.
