I've thought this too. In this case this is a puppy. So I agree. But I've changed my mind on others. Especially the ones who have had their dogs through everything. Many treat their old dogs better than themselves and it makes me wonder if that dog needs their owner as much as the owner needs thar dog. That dog could be the motivation to get to a better position so they can provide more for their dog.

Tenants trashed the place and never paid rent, so I struggled with my own rent and couldn’t pay my mortgage. As a landlady I had no right to evict and eventually lost the house. This is obviously a correction from when landlords had all the rights, but the pendulum swung too far when it needed to be in the middle. If you have landlord insurance and go through a reputable real estate agent, you’re less at risk. Hope you do well no matter what you decide!

She got completely tongue tied in the beginning of the interview when she was asked about people squatting in her property because of Covid. The worst thing about this interview is that the beautiful puppy deserves a nice home with a yard to run around in. I hope she surrenders him so he can be properly taken care of. 🥺🙏
