I love your videos and reviews - they're great contributions to the skating community! I'm not so hot on the Roces TIF-gimmick, as it requires wheels of the same size and color for it to work. But the boots are really surprisingly nice, although I'm much more a fan of FR Skates. It was great to hear Roces' history too; I wasn't at all aware of any of it, despite having owned the Roces Helium TIF II.

Thanks for the video and the channel, Ivo! I have to say something: I have tried Intuition in this boot, and it does not work properly. The shape of the lacing system is kinda sideways, and the fraps of the laceholes dig into the liner. Didn't feel good!

Thanks for the info! that is very good to know. I have not tried it myself. If a customer request this modification I will keep an eye out for it.

Excellent channel! Are you planning a review of the new Rollerblade Crossfire? There are mixed views about it online. Wonder what you think. All the best.

      Eventually we will
new models are tempted to do a review about, but it is better for the long run to know a little bit more about what the brand has planned for a model in the future when a skate is out already for a while.

Thanks for this video very good information on sizing. I don't understand the sizing. I am a US size 8 in woman. I ordered the 6 in men because they recommend to go 2 sizes down. The liner was really small almost cut circulation in the foot & the boot had 1 finger of space. I don't think I will get much more space in the 40 liner. The sizes on Roces website there is two size guides on same product page. Both size guide by model & size guide have two different sizes for the X35's. I've decided to go to 41 but now you say they eventually turn to 42. After breaking in that would be huge for my size. My mondo point is 259 Right 254 Left. I want to love these but shopping for them has been total nightmare & the experience makes me not like the skate or company.

The size 41-42 should work for you if you most likely. Hope that helps

@@Thisissoul Thank you for your reply. Appreciate the reassurance! I skated them today! Right foot perfect fit! Left foot looser than I'd like 6mm short. Size 8 EU41 Mondopoint 260 on tongue. 124.00 New on Amazon I can't beat the deal. I still want the FR1 so maybe Ill try them next I think a 255 would suite me best. Thanks for the videos. I'm subbed.

I am really sorry you just briefly mentioned brakes. I have to admit how disappointed I am with the brake pad. Mine got worn out after ~30 km of riding with some minor hills. Also brake holder bends if great force is applied so it's really dangerous if you try to use it in full capacity on some steep hill or some other situation where sudden stopping is required. It's easy to say it's meant for lighter riders, but why do they offer sizes up to US15/49EU. Those kind of riders easily reach from 90 to 130 kg and brakes and holders should be engineered for that. I've also heard they use some kind of new recycled plastics for the brake pads and they are not made of rubber any more. It's really a step down in quality and it adds really negative note to whole roller blading experience. The ratchets can also be felt that are not designed to last. And than they are complaining that the market is shrinking. Of course less people will buy Roces roller blades if there are such decisions made in lowering standards of quality.

Thanks for the additional info! You can also put a Powerslide or FR universal brake on them, maybe that helps. or learn al the breaking technique ofcourse!

This boot reminds me of the Rollerblade RB. Maybe they use the same mold?

no for sure not, it is a different mold
