    Good job explaining it...I'm a Tennessean and with the Preds doing so well in the playoffs I'm trying to learn the rules of hockey. Now off to learn what icing is.

    Brilliant. Thank you. Trying to play NHL 15 on PS4 and I kept getting this penalty. I'm a nerd that doesn't play or watch sports, so this video was really good for me.

    Thanks, in game one of the 2017 playoffs the announcer said the guys skate cannot be lifted in the air at least that's what I thought he said... until the puck crosses the blue line

    Great video! I just 1 question
    If the team is in the offensive end with the puck
    And somebody shoots it out of the offensive end
    But a defender that is outside of the defensive end shoots the puck back into the offensive end (after the puck went out of the defensive end) and none of the players touch it and skate out.
    Would that situation be a direct offside as soon as the defensemen shoots it back in
    Or a delayed offside if none of the players touch the puck and skate out?

    Awesome! You are great, this makes so much sense! I was confused about the rule where everyone has to go back out the blue line now it makes sense :-)

  • @MoarJoey_9821
    @MoarJoey_9821 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Isn't there a penalty when let's say the player with the puck crosses the blue line then passes it to someone behind the same blue line then that player crosses the blue line before all the other players turn back around?
