    Currently, all states have one of these two different conditions. 1- To have lived in that state for a certain period of time 2- To have an education degree in that particular state. An immigrant candidate who has not come to Australia as such is not eligible for 190/489/491 visas. Has this been happening in the past? Or did the states set such rules because of the pandemic?

    • @ailsaustralia

    Hey Conrad, on each state website (i've checked all regions) it says as part of the requirements,you need to be - "Currently working for the last 6 months in this region." So i'm presuming this means no offshore applications (in my job role) are not eligible at present?

    • @ailsaustralia
      @ailsaustralia  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes unfortunately that is correct, the requirements currently ensure only those in Australia can apply. This will change in due course. Thanks for watching and supporting our channel

    Students have completed their studies in Australia and having 90 points and living since last five years. Due to COVID they could not get job in their fields. The Australian Government is giving Visa 190 but why not 189.

    Hi Karl, I am from offshore. I received an invite from the South Australian government for state nomination yesterday. I was asked to submit an application in the SA's skilled migration portal.
    Unfortunately, my ACS skills assessment expired before the date of invitation. And I have yet to receive my new skills assessment from ACS. South Australia asked to submit my application within 14 days.
    As this is not an invite from the Skillselect, Can you please advise whether I can submit the application with the expired ACS result letter in the state portal ?

    Aloha Karl! I just received s56 RFI and there was only one requested doc which is Police Clearance for my state of resident, Hawaii. I was able to immediately order a certified criminal record via our state police/justice system and uploaded to Immi Account Portal. My application status is now changed from Initial Assessment to Further Assessment.
    While I am being hopeful and glad that there was only one requirement s56, I am just wondering whether the condition listed in s56 can be considered as the only requirement left before the approval or it is only just just the beginning before a full review/assessment and that additional s56 can still be issued?

    Hi,
    I applied for the 190 visa in February 2020 and I have been waiting for the outcome. However on the section for work experience documents I only uploaded recommendation letters from my employers and my social security contributions statement showing the monthly payments that were made from my employers. From reading comments about the amount of documents supposed to be submitted I now realise that the documents I uploaded may not be sufficient.
    Should I upload more documents now? Namely my employment letter, certificate of service etc? Wont that delay significantly the process?
    Regards

    I have a little question. When I graduated, I got the engineers australia membership but did not get the skills assesment. I mentioned in the EOI that I have done my skills assesment. Now, I have got an invite and realised the skills assessment was not done before. I have applied for the same and should be able to get it in next 10-15 days. I have 28 days of time.
    .
    Can it be an issue to my application? I am based in WA.
    I would greatly appreciate your help.

      Hi Kashish. That does not sound good. The requirement to meet a positive outcome in a visa application is the applicant had a valid skill assessment at the time the invitation was issued. That doesn't sound like in your case. Please book a time to discuss in more detail. Thanks for watching our channel and your support

    Thanks for the great video! I understand that there is no explicit visa condition that requires you to stay in the nominated state for the first two years and you can freely move to another state. However, if I move out of Australia shortly after getting 190 visa, would this be an issue? I know it's fine with 189 visa but wasn't sure with 190 visa. Thanks in advance!

    Hi Sir, Hope your are doing great.
    Can you please give me an advice about the 189,190 in NSW(Sydney). Me and my wife both have master in IT from Sydney. And I am on 485 visa and my wife on student visa. She is not dependent on my visa (485). If I have 90 points and 2 years of TR left( wife’s TR)
    What’s the chances of getting nomination in NSW. Or good to move NSW regional or ACT.
    Would really appreciate your response
    Thank you

    • @ailsaustralia
      @ailsaustralia  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Guarav, thank you for your support. Depends on your occupation but if it is on the NSW 190 list, then 90 points is a reasonable chance. We had a few receive invitations last year but it seems NSW has slowed down since then. Lets see how next financial year goes. if you need more help please book a time to discuss in detail.

    Hi Karl
    Thank for the video, it's really good.
    I have about 10 years of experience, which is great for Visa 190 (15 points). I'll submit my documents for Vetasses for skill assessment, which requires only 3 years of experience. In that case, should I prove 10 years of experience for Vetasses or this should be a further step, only when submitting my EOI for the Visa 190? Thank you, best
