Marc A they were, my uncle tells me all the time. Stuff was easier back then, you could go outside and not worry about half the shit that’s going on today. He told me you could go to your local diner and enjoy good food. Also it was easy to socialize like saying hello was a common thing unlike worrying about who you follow on Instagram. He tells me he wishes I could’ve seen a day in his days. He told me making friends was as easy as going to a lake in summer and playing baseball with some new people. Or getting a date was just asking if you could take them out. Those were the best years
As a child growing up. Grandma would leave her biscuits in the oven a little longer, thus making them more browned. I always wanted to find the ones that were darkest on the bottom. I loved the taste of Grandma's burnt biscuits. I can taste them now in my memory
You are so sincere. I love watching you prepare your meals to your liking. I am also frugal. Not always because of the need to be, but, because I can't justify being wasteful. I have so many homemade meals in my freezer that are weighed for normal sized servings that I could probably eat for 6 months without shopping for more than fresh milk and eggs.

I think I just realized why I can't stop watching these videos. You know when you find yourself driving through some random part of the country and find yourself staring at somewhat odd looking homes and think to yourself "I wonder who in the hell lives there?" Well, his videos are a peek inside all of those homes.
At least he prettied it up by mixing it with pudding, whipped topping, chocolate sauce and bananas. That way it didn't look like a piece of poop with corn in it anymore, it just looked like shit.

Creative use for the dressing, never would have thought of that. Recently I've been using 1/3 olive oil and 2/3 vinegar, quite delicious with tomatoes and onions.
here, i can often find 10 pound bags of chicken quarters for $4. i can fry them, or make soup, or tacos, or chili, for mega cheap. i use a deep fryer and a pressure cooker for these things.
