The beginning of this video has another haunted light spot that jumps across the top of the car interior at about the one minute mark when I talk about lightning. This is my Saturday visit to KFC near Nashville. The restaurant area is open but only for take out orders. A face mask is required. The service was very fast. The food was good and hot. I especially like their Cole slaw. This video features car talk. I am not good at repairing cars, but I am a trivia buff about many car designs from the 1930s until the 1960s. I currently have a 2005 Dodge Caravan. I talk about many cars I have owned and cars I know about. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
Anytime I'm feelin depressed, I always turn one of this guy's videos on. They honestly actually really help. This man has one of the most soothing voices I have ever heard.

I once lived north of Nashville in Cheatham County, Pleasant View to be exact... It was a small city that had 2 grocery stores, 1 gas station, and nothing to do... However, it was a fun place to live in the '70s...

Thank you for the dinner chat tonight. With experience, I have learned to get my food ready before I click on your video so I can eat along with you. Otherwise, I end up starving by the end of the video and find myself hopping in my car. One particular time was watching you eat pumpkin pie. I ended up running to store to buy pumpkin pie -- and I don't even like pumpkin pie. lol You have a way of making everything look good! Hope you have a wonderful week ahead!

I had a 1968 Rambler American. She was a sedan. 232 I6, AT, AM radio, dealer installed under dash AC. I bought her in 1998 for $600. She had 42,000 miles on her. AC still blew cold! Great car!! Should never have sold her!!

Your chicken dinner looked good. I have lived in Ky all my life. I'm not far from Louisville. About 45 min. away from me. My dear Dad (who has passed away) had a 73 Plymouth Cuda and a 39 Ford Coupe. My nephew (his grandson has the Cuda). I'm having a hard time selling his Ford. He loved that car. He had is painted canary yellow. Miss him so much, he was my best friend.
Yes! 1931 Pierce-Arrow. One showed up at my school prom a few years ago. It was HUGE. Still had the heavy smell of leather upholstery. When the owner/collector drove it away, it left without a sound. More like a whisper.
Watching this in bed put me to sleep halfway thru the video. Thanks Tom.

You are very humbling to listen to just like my grandfather, he was my hero born in 1932 I was fascinated especially with the cars he had and the music from the 50’s that I’m so in love with today! My grandfather died at 81 when I was 13, and this guy feels like the Grandpa of youtube. Love listening to his stories.

My uncle has been working on cars since 1960 and he even restored his '63 Porsche and '72 Chevelle to near perfect condition. He even taught me to drive stick in his Porsche! (His friends said he was crazy for letting me drive it!)

Thank you for the trip through memory lane with some good old KFC sir. You've owned some beautiful cars and mentioned some of my favorites. Cars are far too cookie cutter designs now. At one point, they were art.
Hi Tom. This is my favorite video by you so far. I could probably get in a conversation with you about cars for hours. My Godfather had a dark green '53 Kaiser 4 dr sedan. He used to drive us to Glens Falls NY from NH and we'd stay with him there for a week or so in the 50s and 60s. He got a new 1960 Dodge Pioneer 4 dr later on. He worked for Niagra Mohawk Power Co for about 40 years.

My grandfather collected cars and had a majority of the cars you mentioned. As a young boy, on Sunday's he would take us driving in his limo, and we would get a bucket of KFC. He also made the best coleslaw and did so every Thanksgiving.

Little fact, Harland Sanders was actually a Hoosier. Really enjoyed the talk about cars. My dad was an auto body man, professionally, and an awesome mechanic. My brother followed in his steps. Lots of car talk in our household. My dad is declining fast with dementia, you really made me miss the “dad” I knew. If I was there, and there wasn’t an epidemic, I’d give you a big ol hug around your neck!!

I just ate dinner at KFC yesterday, Saturday and got the same exact meal. Everything was delicious. I also like their coleslaw. I get tired of eating and doing everything alone.

You guys ever have it about 35 yrs ago give or take? Before extra this and special that? Bucket of chicken and rolls on top, slaw, taters n gravy. The Colonel is spinning at 3500 rpm because of what’s happened to his chicken
Deborah chesser Yes, I’m 70 years of age and I don’t recall it being any different. Original or Extra Crispy. We used to buy it by the bucket and all the fixes.
I love KFC. Haven't had any in so long I'd kill for a bucket and 4 biscuits. Play bass alone. Eat alone and like my solitude. My cats are the only company I need most times. They also love KFC.

My first vehicle was a 1963 Rambler American coupe....salmon pink/ with red stripe...Great car! Not my choice of colors... But the price was right. I always enjoy watching👍

I used to spend lunch hour eating with my dad and we would have just random and very interesting conversations about everything from cars to cattle; from crops to just life in general. My dad always wanted us to go t Dairy Queen and he would have his “fish sandwich,” fried potatoes and a cup of black coffee. Oh how I miss those times and make it a point to stop by a relive that feeling watching Tom enjoy his meals. Maybe some day our paths can cross over a fish sandwich and if it doesn’t happen please keep your videos coming. God bless you Tom.

The Packard was before my time, but I am partial to the old Dodge Dart slant 6, before all the pollution control shit they started in the mid-70s. The slant 6 engine was the most simplistic and reliable engine that would last for half a million miles if maintained.

I recall going to Kentucky once as a child with my parents and grandparents. I saw the blue green grass and was wowed by that. And I saw a big statue of the racehorse Man-O-War, and was impressed by that too. 🐴
