Ultimate guide to catching Grouper in Panacea

We headed out of Panacea Florida to see if we could find some Grouper. Don has just finished doing some work on his boat and wanted to see how it was going to do. We got out to some of the grouper holes and were catching grouper and grunts. Don said as long as we kept the grunts feeding the grouper would bite too. We took turns catching the grunts, they are also known as Key West Snapper, Ruby Red Lips, Rubies. They are fun to catch! I hooked into a big grouper that drug me down the side of the boat as he made his way back under a rock. Then he cut me off. So close! If you cant get them out of the rocks fast they use the rocks to cut your line. We all caught some grouper and even a couple of legal keepers.
It was a beautiful day on the water and the fishing was great!
