Hucho Flyfishing Slovenia - Mega Beast!

Dreams of many Fisherman and Flyfisherman some times come true! Winter Flyfishing in Slovenia - more exactly on the Sava Bohinjka river gave an unforgetable catch to a local Hucho fishing fanatic - Bostjan F.! Mega Hucho-hucho of most beautiful shape and form hammered down on the Hucho Streamer and made this Video come true.. Along all the persons involved of course :-) Enjoy watching, subscribe and Release back the Huchos if you get so lucky to land some of your own! Respect to the King!

Amazing fish! I noticed it's loop evotec cast fast. Which class?
I use 9 '# 8 and I wonder which model was fighting this fish

Hi Hubert! thanks for your question! I believe he used class line 9 and 9ft length.. you need heavy rod if you want to be able putting some control on the fish.. if you would be using class line 7 or even 8, fish would do with you what she wants :-)

Well.. because it is a war 😄 against the harsh elements, our own limitations (how much can you endure out there in the cold) and super avoiding Huchos.. As this might look easy - it can take seasons to be able film it in this way.. and for the end.. Adrenaline dose that you receive when hooking this size Huch can only be found on the battlefield.. 😀
