    Can i ask a question, you told in the video : Quick hits section, the MU-MIMO is typically associated with the lower rank MIMO (2x2 MIMO). But why in the next, you told 4G and 5G support using until 64T64R. Can you explain it? Is the lower rank not corresponding directly to number of antenna?

      Thank you, Muhammad. Certainly, feel free to ask anytime. You're correct; the maximum supported rank is directly correlated with the number of TX/RX antennas on both the UE and BTS sides. For instance, if the BTS transmits with 4T and the UE receives with only 2R, the maximum supported rank in this scenario is 2. In the case of 64T64R from the BTS side, the maximum supported rank in either DL or UL will still be constrained by the maximum supported TXRX on the side (UE).
      However, there is a nuanced difference in the statement mentioning MU-MIMO. MU-MIMO is typically associated with lower-rank MIMO (e.g., 2x2 MIMO). In the case of Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO), even if we assume that the maximum supported rank is 4, the gNB/eNB may downgrade the maximum rank to 1 or 2 to maximize the benefits of Multi-User MIMO. Nevertheless, this is a vendor-specific solution, implying that UEs can still support rank 4, but it involves a tradeoff in MU-MIMO performance.

    Thanks !One query what are differences at signalling level..in sumimo and sumimo??? Can you please elaborate on this ..any signalling diff in sumimo n mumimo..( in rrc reconfigure msg)

      Hi Vipin; as i know and understand; you can mot see MU-MIMo from any signaling; the full control is at eNb side and there is no information need to be shared with the UE; when i did the test before for MuMimo i was only able to confirm this from throughput gain from field and checking related MU mimo counters from KPis

      Thanks@@mohamedeladawiashour yes I was observing same . Also if mumimo is with massive mimo i.e 32 trx massive mumimo then do we need any signalling i.e need to do anything set for 32 trx at signalling?
