Why do I find myself just watching all these videos over and over again, I know I’m not the only one! Can’t wait to get to the museum and see you again Matt! I’m taking my son with me for his first time this time, he’s 4 gotta get him started early!
I love how your motorcycles are unrestored. They are only original once. My old bike just gets a wipe with an oily rag. I just love the way the paint has rubbed off the tank over years I have owned it.
That electric starter is probably the generator. Years ago in trade school we did learn how to convert an generator into a combination starter /generator. Very cool unit.
Funnily enough- the first drill rig i learnt to drill on (Gardner Denver, was a 1960's model) had the same pull lever/ handbrake style for the Sandline & clutch system as the Monopoly car
I love looking back on these old cars because the further back you go in history the closer you get to the kind of go karts we build today. It really goes to show that just because a design is primitive doesnt mean its not perfectly viable.
@@douglaspurcell3665 no my friend, it's all in your creativity. As funny as it sounds, i am building a old small stationary engine into a peddle car that looks like a Model T Ford. The engine has 50cc and 1,6 ps. I can take a pic if you like

Yes you got it exactly~The car in the game had a boat tail and a midget racer front~Justice Brothers show room has over a dozen of them that look identical to the game peice ~I came here to the comments to see if anyone saw the same thing I did
But realistically no car matches the monopoly game piece cause I cant think of any grand prix type cars that had their headers down low like that back then because they had to put the steering linkage there. Not to mention the headers on an inline 8 which was in almost every one of those cars came out the top of the engine and would go straight back behind the wheels kind of like a extra propulsion system.
I’ve really enjoyed this whole series. Matt, you’re making your dad proud with your efforts for the museum. Only thing I can say in total jest; my grandpa would say: “ if you tied that boy’s hands behind his back; he couldn’t even say motorcycle “ 😂😂. I’m just as bad; just an observation from experience 😂😂

Very cool! One question, what is the "pump" that's on the right side? It looks like it might be some sort of grease gun, it has two lines coming out of it.
I knew a guy who had an old miniature fire truck with some kind of motor in it. His kids and I used to ride it around his property. It was kid sized and had two seats in front and one looking backwards

The Monopoly car was apparently based on a Kurtis Kraft midget racing car. Did a 30 second internet search. Looks like it to me. This car is just as neat IMO. Don't need the Monopoly connection anyway.

google cycle cart. There are some folks out there who do something along these lines, not so much with lots of money, but creativity and dirt under the fingernails. I know, not quite the same, but it surely could be done with a more beefy engine. Ford Model T replica parts should be available, too.
Find a Harley Davidson powered aircraft or air prop boat. My uncle Floyd Gun built two utilising. 80 cid flathead Harley Davidson engines. Is the pump on the side for priming the fuel? I don't think he mentioned that.
