Yeah, after its deep fried some of the fry oil is mixed with spices and then its tossed in that. The seasoning is a basically oil based sauce. I don't recommend eating large portions without bread.
It's only good in a smaller portion which makes sense. I've ate at places like this and know this feeling. Good af, but if you eat too much the oil from the sauce gets to u.
This is the issue I have with Wingstop, or at least the joints around here. The chicken is just too greasy. Feels like they should pat them with a paper towel before sending them out. Chicken can taste amazing and be juicy but overly oily fried chicken is just so 🤮🤮
Nashville chicken is literally dunked in oil with spices to make it cling to the chicken and stop it from getting soggy since oil/fat doesn't get rid of crispiness. Trying to eat 9 pieces is insane bro

it means they screwed up when deep frying it , the oil temp was not hot enough , usually this happens when you crowd the vessel you are frying in , i assume then they might not have a proper fryer because this should not happen with a commercial fryer that holds the temp steady always , this is more likely to happen for home cooks who fry in a skillet or something .
Honestly we love your videos, and you don’t need to eat something that makes you feel sick. There are so foods that are so calorie dense & greasy that your body is like ‘nopeeeee too much’.

Hot take? Since popeyes got everyone to up their "juicy in the middle crunchy on the outside" game, fried chicken has actually gone TOO far. I dont really want a thick layer of dry crunchy bread then wet, waterlogged meat in the middle. It's too much of an extreme, even though those were the traits we originally asked for. I kinda miss the thin layer of salty skin you used to get.
