Never have I seen a game franchise with such dedication to it's consistency in gameplay I would suggest a I don't know classic bit Street Fighter Beat Em Up like Shredder's Revenge but then it wouldn't be Street Fighter anymore now would it?.
@@twentyone961 Now I see, Street Fighter needed to stay out of 3D. I agree, but they did it because Capcom thought if Street Fighter IV stayed in 2D, they wouldn't stand a chance against 3D hits such as Virtua Fighter 5, 鉄拳TEKKEN 6, Soulcalibur IV, Dead or Alive 4, etc. The worst part was that The King of Fighters XII stayed in 2D, but got criticized and commercially panned, which discouraged Capcom even more.
@@KenMasters. i'm sure capcom wouldn't be criticized when the sf series were still in 2D. for exaple i'm not thinking about to buy sf6. the way this game changed, is just stupid.
@@twentyone961 The only thing about SF6 that caught my attention was that they finally added an adventure-mode. Something Capcom rejected when SFIV was being pitched.
Street Fighter 5 should released on January 28, 2011 for PS3 and Xbox 360, Street Fighter 6 should released on February 12, 2016 for PS4 exclusive, Street Fighter 7 should released on June 26, 2020 delayed from January 24, 2020 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC (steam), and Street Fighter 8 should released on June 2, 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC (steam)
Actually in some ways… Mortal Kombat also has its downs. When MK had their 30th Anniversary, they didn’t release an entire collection of games in one disc like Street Fighter did, because Ed Boon and the others now hates their own classics.
useless game. The years were passing and still the graphics would stay the same stupid cartoonish graphics. Not even close to MORTAL KOMBAT where every time there was a new release everything was becoming better and more realistic.
How many Street Fighter 2 remakes your want?
Capcom: YES!
Why are there 300 Street Fighter 2s?
Because *CAPCOM* , don't try to understand it, enjoy it (?)
cuz it was necessary!
Back in the day you didn’t get patches or dlc, you had new editions of a game released with new content added to it
You forgot the first Street Fighter EX.
And Tiger electronica version of sf2
true

@@SanaaRune what is that that doesnt exist yet
All those Street Fighter games look so fantastic! I've gotta get one of those! 😁
🎉Happy 36th anniversary to street fighter 🎉

14:14 came out in 2011 for iOS. I got it when i was in college. The date is wrong.
16bit games the best for me. Ultra SF2 final challengers looks super clean 👍🏽
used to play a lot in late 90s then Mortal Kombat came. Good old days.
You forgot the “Super Street Fighter II: the new challengers. “
And forgot Street Fighter ex 1 on Playstation
SF3 REALLY should've had Cammy in Third Strike. Maybe even Vega. The lack of classic characters really hurt that, otherwise, great and stunning game.
Third strike will always be my favourite ❤️
I would say involution of Street Fighter games.
Street Fighter 2010 is not part of SF universe. The main character is Kevin who has been changed by Capcom to avoid a mistake to Ken Masters.

Wait, is there another street fighter game before street fighter 2? But I thought SF2 was the first? Why didn't anyone talk about Street Fighter?
Street fighter 2010 its not related with the franchise 🙄
