How to fix the Crit: Change it to where instead of the chance to drop it upon reload, make it to where it's a chance the reload doesn't count, and you have to reload again.
I remember I was watching my friend in the slot machines in flamerock refuge, he had wasted over 100 eridian and then he won the 3 vault logo, his first EVER pearl was of course, #2 The Storm, I laughed so hard.
iiDevAlot I remember once I used 450 eriridum on butt stallion trying to get a legendary, I didn't, but then I spun the slots 3 times and got a Sawbar. Da Fuq game
Ive seen this video many times (i love VPG’s content please return man!) But it brought back a moment that happened many years ago. I was in 7th-8th grade and Borderlands the Pre-Sequel came out, for all game systems. At the time the Xbox One was out and everyone moved on from the 360. I still had the 360 (till this day it runs fine), and so i got The Pre-Sequel for Christmas. It was an ordinary day where i went to school, got picked up from my parents and we showed up back home to our house being robbed and our belongings and possessions stolen. No one could believe it, and till this day, as a 19 year old man, I have yet to get a copy of the game and complete The Pre-Sequel.
it kinda sucks that the storm is so bad, because the effect is cool, and also it was my first pearl. Also, in my opinion, jackenstein is such a terribly designed boss i havent gone back to it since the first time i beat it, its just not fun.
It would’ve actually been really neat and cool if the Storm was just the Orion from BL1, special effect and all, just with a different name, as the Orion from BL1 was a really great shock only sniper rifle in that game.
This is agony, I ever purchased and installed part 2 of UVHM which it finally presented Pearlescent Weapons. While I was once in a Wildlife Preservation, fighting through the swarm of Stalkers and the army of Hyperion robots and engineers, and later, there was once a Legendary Engineer Loot Midget drop above from those red slimy things dangling above every what appears to be a mutated mushrooms trees around stalker territories, I decided to kill him with my Fastball, and when I see a lightblue rarity(Pearlescent), I was absolutely hyped for me to see and obtain my first pearlescent weapon in my entire gameplay of Borderlands 2, well I see it appears to be a long weapon(sniper) and when I get a closer look and a item tag popped up on my screen, it was a Storm, A FRIKKIN STORM, even I slagged every flesh/armored enemies with my Slagga and swapped to my Storm, it doesn't even do much damage and kill enemies in seconds compare to my Slag Dobby Lyuda that kill them in just 2-3 seconds hitting them in the head. This crap sniper called Storm, is my FIRST Pearlescent weapon in my entire Borderlands 2 gameplay, it was absolutely disappointing and embarrassing at the same time. Screw me man.... and you're right, it really pissed me off aswell. Are you feeling me Puma? (EDIT) And ALSO, the Tunguska was my SECOND Pearlescent Weapon, what the HECK?! I also died by that crap, atleast I have a Nukem in my backpack and I can use it carefully, this game is trolling me...
the thunderball fist was my favorite gun I ever had. I know it's nothing amazing but it's def a decent choice in base game and a little bit in tvhm. don't know why I loved it so much but i always got huge help from it in ffyl and boss battles
i use the Storm in tandem with either the Hawkeye or Volcano on Zer0, though i primarily play as Axton in an unyielding support roll a friend of mine who used him before Gaige dropped turned me onto this and i love it
8:49 It's not that I want literally anything other than the Vandergraffen... it's that I just... _don't care about it_. The vibra-pulse is better, I have glitch energy weapons that are better and funnier, a Vladof sniper rifle that holds close to 40 rounds that is also better... and that's just shock damage stuff. I've also got a massive array of glitch stuff, and a maggie that ignores shields. I wouldn't call the Vandergraffen bad, just outclassed and overshadowed in every way. Now, the Dahlminator and Infection.... In _that_ case I'd rather have anything else. 15:37 I remember getting that thing once, staring at the projectile after I fired it and being all "Okay what the fuck do I do with this thing?"
What pisses me off the most about min min lighter is that it ate the legendary spot for a tediore laser shotgun. The purple tediore ones are pretty amazing and I would had loved to see an actual legendary tediore laser weapon similar to the regular ones
I was talking to my friend a couple weeks ago and I got to thinking that Elements should really have more than one result. So Electric will destroy shields and has a chance of stunning enemies like a Tazzer would. Corrosive has the extra ability to health damage and something like various debuffs to flesh targets or have Corrosive also be good at taking down shield since a Shield is a part robotic. Fire would still be the MVP at killing flesh targets but has a minor debuff to everything but Shielded enemies. I imagine fire as frying the insides of a robot ( I know that's not how it work}
The lightning bolt looks like it takes out most shields in one shot, it could be more useful who isn't using grenades as often or isn't looking to instantly kill you with a grenade
Just started playing BL2 a couple of months ago. I was actually gunzerking with the first two entries on this list in one of hammerlocks dlcs. Forgot who the final boss was but made quick work of it. Got to picking up the loot and noticed one of the slots was empty and realized I had somehow lost the crit. This video explains wtf happened to that weapon smmfh.
A super powerful weapon that fires extremely slowly might be an interesting concept to test out. I can't think of anything quite like that. Most guns with really slow projectiles aren't worth using, even if they're powerful, because what good are powerful shots if they almost never hit their mark? But if they were ridiculously strong shots, I could see some builds working with them. I mean something that's like a beefed up Norfleet (albeit, with just a single projectile, and maybe not e-Tech type shots), or maybe alternatively, a sniper that only has one bullet per clip, but deals huge damage (a good weapon to start an engagement, after which you switch to other weapons).
If the yellow jacket's projectiles stacked in dmg that would be amazing. What I mean is, against mob type enemies or and enemies with short health bars, it'd be ineffective, but if the damage built up overtime or all the bullets in a mag that are mid air and haven't impacted build up damage
I have the lightning bolt on one of my characters. The only way I use it is when I'm low on grenades, I equip it and wait a bit to let it regenerate my grenades. For that, it's useful.
Only reason I have the lightning bolt is cuz I couldn't get any of the other grenades....I mainly use it to get rid of shields since I don't use electric type weapons. I'm running a hellborne krieg with a explosive/firebuild. Using a fire bitch smg, a corrosive norfleet, a grognozzle and double pen unkempt harold. Any tips for gear? (Using A legendary torch class mod with a Firehawk shield btw)
Another good thing about the Crit: I'm gonna use an example, let's say you emptied the magazine on an Unkempt Harold, and you dropped it before you reload, it would conserve ammo. The Crit is good with that effect because it drops pretty frequently.
One time a legendary gun dropped from the assassins in the mission were you hunt all them all down ( forgot what it was called ) and it fell behind the black Barrier they submerge from
not sure if you did something different for this video but I liked it a lot more than normal. ( I like your other videos a lot too of course) maybe you explained stuff more and made a longer video? not sure. anyway keep it up!
Boxxy Gun is good though, especially for Athena (Ceraunic Storm skill tree) skill and some her Storm class mod. All you have to do just empty your mag. 0 ammo means 0 chance to electrocute yourself.
I farm for the commerce often. Getting the drop (so far) about once out of 5 or 6 trys. Works well with the Bee and I've been able to get one often enough to just sell it when I clean out my backpack for another farm run. I'm not sure what the highest level is I have acquired one though and I do have a shock hyperion SMG that has been better than any of them I have farmed. But I have the basic game w no DLCs so 50 is my lvl limit anyways
But the Boxxy Gun is incredible good on Wilhelm if you strongly invest in emergency response, but you then need kala, it also procs with vengence cannon and that can contribute to a very good build
At least the only terrible pearlesent in Borderlands 1 is the Jackal and maybe a cold-acc stalker due to its already slow bullets. The bad or mediocre legendarys in borderlands 1 I think are the non-carnage Hydra(impractical spread, Surkov(most semi-auto snipers have better Dps, and doesn't have the one-hit kill potenal of a Jakobs(Elephant-gun,Skullmasher, and Bessie in particular) , Butcher(shotgun ammo waster{240x3 max}), Striker(weaker that simlar Jakobs shotguns, crit +30% doesn't do much), Guardian(HLK body with ammo regen,Teidore has weaker stats in general, Gemini(repeaters suck in general, esp. non-element ones, bullet pathing is impractical), Wildcat (hate that SMG with a passion, couldn't hit water falling out of a boat), the reaper (can"t get a cold/double/elem acc, melee bonus doesn't work), Troll(health regen is very slow, no real stat improvement over the acc it base off of) and Friendly Fire (impractical spread, element lies on carnage version). If you even plan on doing a worst legendary guns video on Borderlands 1, it may be different than my list.
the Min Min lighter is ungodly on Wilhelm with a systems Purge and amp Shield since one bullet can get repeated procs thus increasing damage immensely with one shot
7:14 just realized you have really low max health on your character. my krieg in borderlands 2 has 199,000 health and hes level 56. granted krieg has feed the meat but still
The box gun, I remember thinking WTF From memory it doesn't like being reloaded before bei.g empty, and more bullets it still has, more it hurts apon reload detonation. May have been other way around, ill have to check now.
The volt thrower should have faster shooting speed and projectile, and its reload should be a super fast projectile that pulls/attracts enemies into it's explosion shockwave.
Ligtning bolt for shield breaking for melee/roid shields plus grenade regen makes it easier to shield break without worrying with grenade ammo otherwise.............
For the lightning bolt it's great for a melee zero to get your own shield down if you have a roid shield, it helps a lot, it's pretty shit if your using it anywhere else
Wow I used the Min Min Lighter for half an entire playthrough WITH my friend and somehow neither of us ever managed to hit the orb. I literally just thought it was a ball that zapped nearby foes.
The crit is easily fixed with Sal, just spec into autoloader and when you have to reload the crit, just swap into another weapon and get a kill with it, the effect wont happen that way.
Storm is what I like to call a shield melter. Sure, it's not lethal unless you play as Zer0, but one well placed shot can remove the shields of all basic enemies in a 5 foot radius faster than shooting them all individually or using an inaccurate launcher.
Eh, Chulain isnt as bad as you think. Gaige becomes a monstrous glass cannon with skills in anarchy and little big trouble trees. Anything thats Corrosive/flesh based just... well... melts doesnt describe what happens, vaporises is closer but still not exact. those badass corrosive skags for example just roll over under that things deluge. Its not great of course, and its use is specific but its very good at what it does.
I got the min min in a vending machine thinking it was going to be good so I wasted all of my money to get it and then when I tried it out I quit the game and deleted my character
You know what wouldve been more unfortunate? If you thought that it was the Laser Disker and expecting it to be the super weapon it is, then had that afterthought lol. I am sorry for your loss tho
The Storm's only reason to be used is to use on the BNK-3R with Zero and have the Bore skill. It actually does a good job stacking Critical Ascension and kills the boss very easily
or basic mobbing as gaige, with skill increasing shock/electrocute dmg, higher anarchy, you can just run around, shooting everyone where you want (who needs to aim for face), and possibly combining with singularity and grog to put them in one place and with drung effect just watch the storm. God do I love this weapon. But yeah, Bunk3r or gaige, otherwise shit, sadly
I've heard many people say that shock is the best element to use in borderlands 2 because of the neutral damage on any enemy but 8 don't mike it (unless I play Gaige), 8 I personaly dont think 8ts the best thing strategically, I'd rather use a quasar or bouncing bunny shock, and then switch to a friendly element weapon instead of gaving a shock weapon and nothing more
My first pearlescent was a Storm. So was my second, and fourth. The third and fifth were Bearcats, and the sixth was an Unforgiven. I'm not really sure why they would intentionally make the rarest weapons in the game the worst weapons you can find. White quality weapons are preferable to pearlescents in Borderlands 2.
I believe the Min-Min Lighter is actually a bad luck weapon because after I got it off EOS. I never beat him and somehow played worse in the game, It changed when I sold it.
they should just buff the storm, if it did good damage i could see it being an insanely fun weapon, when i saw the first clip in the video i thought it looked awesome, but then i saw the damage it was doing to the bosses shield...
this storm is one of the best sniper rifles just add that with boar and you could almost one shot Terramorphous Hyperius vermivorous voracidous in the Warrior but every weapon works on the warrior
i dont get why people hate the critical fail mission. i know you will die every time but at least you get a bone shredder from the mission which is a beast. in general the crit is pretty even in stats but you still get a bone shredder so its worth it at least. i mean i know bone head is easier but this mission can be done fairly early.
Always makes me sad how much everyone hates storm, try it on Gage w/ electric anarchy. 2 hit mobs without slag (note it's kinda meh till 100 anarchy and sick AF after 250)
i made a fix for those who get the error when hex editing precacked versions pre sequel, just drag drop the .exe named launcer on your desktop or in safe place, now hex edit the .exe the named borderlands pre sequel leave the launcer .exe out of game folder u wont need it after you hex edit the borderlands pre sequel .exe ,go turn on your console commands and just launch you game from the borderlands .exe leave one name launcer out of game folder its what creates the error i tested this it works
I got some second winds with the laser from dead drift I believe. I also got it first try pls tell me if I got the name wrong I played claptrap first and if he goes funzerker than use the laser and Funzerk
The Chulainn is pretty good if you plan a 'lil 'round it ^^ Just try mobbing with a chulainn; bee on maya maybe with a little evie and a bitch (or just a plain old hyperion e-tech smg) on second hand, the Chulainn will fuck anything up without waiting for ruin ^^ (but I've never gotten a Chulainn without firerate attachment soo maybe it's this...)
How to fix the Crit: Change it to where instead of the chance to drop it upon reload, make it to where it's a chance the reload doesn't count, and you have to reload again.
And it also has a chance to proc each other with some chance. Excuse me for my englisch
i feel like this is advantage because you can instantly dropreload
Or if you reload premature it's a 50% chance to drop the crit
Its a clit its supposed to be slippery
I had the crit for 2 mins then it flew out of my hands and off a cliff....
pascal greer R.I.P crib I had but soon after it flew into a thief rat..when I was in fight for life too sadly
it dropped and i didnt realize so now i lost it
R.I.P crit it was a good gun then it committed suicide
What
pascal greer haha you're unlucky
"The critical flaw of the crit..."
Was that a pun...?
Thewaffleofoz Ikr
as soon as I read this,he said"the critical flaw of the crit",wat the heck
The crit
*more like critical faliure at reloading*

brandon mullins Sawbar is pretty good. Especially when combined with the bee.
15:33 And I was so afraid you wouldn't get a vinylic brain aneurysm this video...
It’d be funny if BL3 has a Maliwan-themed DLC in which one of the side quests involves tracking down and killing the inventor of Storm and Wanderlust.
Ive seen this video many times (i love VPG’s content please return man!)
But it brought back a moment that happened many years ago.

No one could believe it, and till this day, as a 19 year old man, I have yet to get a copy of the game and complete The Pre-Sequel.

Screw me man.... and you're right, it really pissed me off aswell.
Are you feeling me Puma?
(EDIT)
And ALSO, the Tunguska was my SECOND Pearlescent Weapon, what the HECK?! I also died by that crap, atleast I have a Nukem in my backpack and I can use it carefully, this game is trolling me...
My first pearl was a wanderlust.
Lucky me
Yellow Jacket is okay (or even good) if you have skills that increase bullet speed and/or the prefix that increases bullet speed (I forget which one)
accelerated
Yeah what he said.
HDeputyDawg lol
#velocity
The Storm only has the use of the beautiful visual display that we saw on Pyro Pete.
I kinda like the storm, but the gun is a piece of shit
This is why we mod weapons ladies and gentlemen. I mod crappy guns in bl3 and basically buff them
R.I.P the crit (it fell in some water)
_ lynxx_ you can no longer pick it up
My best friend accidentally dropped his off a cliff (specifically the one in the Wilhelm boss fight)
_ lynxx_ mine was stolen by a rat
Or fell off the ledge in the ancient dragons battle while on fight for your life in solo without knowing the gimic
the thunderball fist was my favorite gun I ever had. I know it's nothing amazing but it's def a decent choice in base game and a little bit in tvhm. don't know why I loved it so much but i always got huge help from it in ffyl and boss battles
i use the Storm in tandem with either the Hawkeye or Volcano on Zer0, though i primarily play as Axton in an unyielding support roll
a friend of mine who used him before Gaige dropped turned me onto this and i love it
8:49 It's not that I want literally anything other than the Vandergraffen... it's that I just...
The hilarious irony is that Deadlift is WEAK to shock weapons. WTF?!
I was talking to my friend a couple weeks ago and I got to thinking that Elements should really have more than one result. im happy someone still shows love to pre sequal it wasnt great but it wasnt terrible either
YES MY DAILY DOSE OF VULGARITY
PUMA IS STILL ALIVE! HURRAH!!!
I love these old videos where you go on a sweat tirade. It’s like extra entertainment value with the info
I've gotten 3 perals in my time playing Borderlands 2. They were all Storms.
Congratulations!
The crit says slippery when wet why don't the bullets slip n slide off walls
Ashgaming 52 the bullets aren't slippery
Ashgaming 52 the bullets aren't slippery
I know I'm just saying
I got the storm from the Mercenary Day train chest at level 56, im level 61 now but ima keep it until OP8 just so I can say i got it legit.
I missed Yoteslaya as my fav borderlands TH-camr but now you exist and now you're my fav borderlands TH-camr keep it up

7:14 just realized you have really low max health on your character. my krieg in borderlands 2 has 199,000 health and hes level 56.
granted krieg has feed the meat but still
Yeah, so he has almost 5× the health of yours
The box gun, I remember thinking WTF

Storm was the very first Pearlecent weapon I got. Oh boy was I disapointed when I used it for the first time.
top 100 weapons in borderlands 1,2, and the pre sequel for 100k
I just started the TVHM in pre sequel yesterday
and the first legendary weapon I got was no.1 in the list
thanks dahl grinder
Dude, the Yellow Jacket can be a beast on Zer0 and especially Maya.
i got the storm from a shity psico today, got impressed by that awesome drop
The lightning bolt is good for getting health back with the grog nozzle if you can't get chain lightning

Yellow jackets troubles, slow projectile speed and you have to fight jackenstine. one word to solve both, MAYA
Thank FUCK
That
Gear*BURP*
10:50 it actually has better base damage than the chain lighting WHICH IS PRETTY AWESOME! 🤣

its also good for krieg. good synergy with elemental elation/empathy. build up stacks almost as quick as a storm front
Stephan Wyrsta use slagga aim at the left part of the bunkers upper crit, with bore and a bee you'll kill it in seconds
White quality weapons are preferable to pearlescents in Borderlands 2.
the minmin lighter was my first vendor legendary in the pre-sequel and i got really hyped because i thought it was the laser disker :{
There is a trick for the Crit. If you're playing on console, you can just double tap the reload/pick up button. That way you don't "lose" it.
I hope they overhaul ultimate vaulthunter mode in BL3. I hate how slag is less tactical and more of a necessity for higher levels in Borderlands 2.
While watching this, I got a notification saying Top 10 Lightning Users from animes. LOL
I believe the Min-Min Lighter is actually a bad luck weapon because after I got it off EOS. I never beat him and somehow played worse in the game, It changed when I sold it.
Wow there's still borderlands 2 videos being made in general? A sub and like for you!
For the yellow jacket you could get Zer0's skill that increases bullet speed
I'd like to see the commerce in different elements, and the color of the skin depends on the element
if you have trouble with jackenstien or want to kill him fast, use the lady fist
@VinylicPumaGaming Do a top # guns and weapons for each specific Borderlands character (1 through Pre-Sequel). Enjoy the content, thanks!
they should just buff the storm, if it did good damage i could see it being an insanely fun weapon, when i saw the first clip in the video i thought it looked awesome, but then i saw the damage it was doing to the bosses shield...
this storm is one of the best sniper rifles just add that with boar and you could almost one shot Terramorphous Hyperius vermivorous voracidous in the Warrior but every weapon works on the warrior
nice joke
Slyvester AKA spookmcskull I'm serious
BORE
My bad thanks for correcting me
Blank yes, i did it, it took a few hours
never had the crit fall out of my hand
btw the lightning bolt is only ment for destroying shields so it wont deal very good damage to health though the fire bolt will destroy fleshy enemies
also u only need it till u get a chain lightning
i dont get why people hate the critical fail mission. i know you will die every time but at least you get a bone shredder from the mission which is a beast. in general the crit is pretty even in stats but you still get a bone shredder so its worth it at least. i mean i know bone head is easier but this mission can be done fairly early.
I cant get a fastball for the life of my. I've practiced scoping in on a target to throw the longbows so I'm sure I'd enjoy that one.
Just going to say this now, I bet the Boss Nova will be on here.
Tyler Sullivan nope
Blade Dragnov
But... it's shit...
Tyler Sullivan u are right about that
I just realized that there is a spell grenade for every element except for Corrosive.
the storm would be amazing if it was in tps and Athena had it that's maelstrom stacks for days
Always makes me sad how much everyone hates storm, try it on Gage w/ electric anarchy. 2 hit mobs without slag (note it's kinda meh till 100 anarchy and sick AF after 250)
Puma, what do you think about vladof e-tech snipers?
4:10 what its that DLC? Its a soo fricking awesome map
Wam Bam Island (i know I'm late)
@@xternole5845 yep, í already bought it
I sure do love me some Gearbox logic
I found the yellow jacket useful for killing shielded Nomads
I got the yellow jacket from a totem while i was running from a badass savage
funniest thing is I just got the storm and it was my first pearlecsent weapon although I'm a level 52
I did farm for the Vandergraaff... I needed lasers to grind for a Laser Disker 👀
i made a fix for those who get the error when hex editing precacked versions pre sequel, just drag drop the .exe named launcer on your desktop or in safe place, now hex edit the .exe the named borderlands pre sequel leave the launcer .exe out of game folder u wont need it after you hex edit the borderlands pre sequel .exe ,go turn on your console commands and just launch you game from the borderlands .exe leave one name launcer out of game folder its what creates the error i tested this it works
Yellow jacket was in the chest while snowman farming for me..
I got some second winds with the laser from dead drift I believe. I also got it first try pls tell me if I got the name wrong I played claptrap first and if he goes funzerker than use the laser and Funzerk
Yes I'm watching this in 2021 I ended up getting the storm 3 times run after run while farming I don't even wanna play borderlands anymore after that
I got a Storm in the Test for OP8 so sadly it's only OP7 but i Like using it on my gaige since the effect Looks cool
I know the yellow jacket sucks, but I actually got mine from the LOTR hidden quest
Can you do worst location in borderlands 2 next?
The barking storm is amazing.
