The show is actually really metaphorical. It's a pretty interesting piece of litterature. Super dark and psychological themes made super light . I think it's one of the most subtile and deep stories .
This is so well said. Like, if the topics would be treated with more serious tone then it would appear as cringy and too hard to swallow for many (adults being called out and stuff) but the trippy and symbolic visuals and lots of humor make it much more digestable.
That's all the work by ONE tbh, but he def went deeper with it in Mob. Like if you read into the backstories of many of the heroes in OPM, you realise that they would be the bad guys if placed into other universes. The universe of OPM is a really messed up place that's covered in a light hearted way. Same with Mob psycho

Mob psycho 100 is one anime I will ALWAYS recommend people to watch. It's so well written and thoughtfully crafted and it's just pure creative joy. It's goofy and funny, it's thought provking, it's at times downright terrifying, but most of all, it's so heart wrenchingly beautiful. There's nothing quite like it. I feel like it's one of those pieces of media that even if it doesn't seem like your cup of tea, whether it be artstyle, genre, or something else, you should give it a solid shot at least once before you decide if it's for you or not. I truly feel like there's something in it for everyone to enjoy. 1000% recommend.
The openings of this anime might looked out of hand and trippy but the anime got a lot of heart in it whether from the production value standpoint, the voice actors performance and the amazing storyline. One of the anime you should watch before you leave this mortal coil.

I think I had heard all of those that you listed and if I was to choose my top favourites, it would be also Underground, Dramaturgy, Kaikai Kitan and As you like it. Or maybe not. Maybe all of them are my top favourites. 😂

I've watched over 300 anime and Mob Psyco 100 is #1 for me. I can never find something that hooked me more than this. Now my room is covered in posters of it, I've got MP100 shirts, phone cases, everything. I just love it! The anime is a treasure. DEVESTATED that it is almost over.
This series is beautiful, i certainly recommend it! Also a fun fact, the choir parts of mob choir songs are the entire team from the storyboards artists and animators to the directors and VAs. They are a mob choir because they are the entire mob psycho team forming a choir. Also, hilariously, opening 1 is FULL of very subtle spoilers 😉
Although I do think this show is much less talked about than One punch man, a show from the same author. It's still a defining anime of the decade and it has a lot of heart in it. Plus the animation is just god tier , they manage to make weird art look amazing.
"Weird art," due to the fact that its artist isn't a trained, visual artist, and he does the best that he can. That said, One has a good sense of frame composition, and Murata Yusuke even bases his One Punch-Man panels on One's own page layouts.
One thing about mob psycho is that you won't feel like watching a big studio producing a massive show or something. It feels like a passion project of a really dedicated and talented group. Like how indie games hit different

I mean, It won best animation in every season in various festivals, even the openings and his band are specifelly made for the show man. Mob Psycho 100 is among of the best anime's out there in my opinion and is one of my favorites next to AoT . The story is just heart warming, the character writing amazing and the animation is top tier. I highly recommend this series to anyone if you haven't seen it yet It is a bit quirky and it might not appeal to people getting into anime but I do hope you give it a chance to show how brilliant it is.
The creativity of those who made these openings is incredible, just like the anime. You should react to Noragami’s openings and yes, also to the opening and endings of Tokyo Revengers.
Mob Psycho is my favorite anime ever, and while it's quite famous now, I would say it's still thrown aside way too easily by watchers because of the artstyle - something that I never understood because... Really ? It's UNIQUE, CREATIVE, you won't find anything like that anywhere else ! It might not strike you because you only are watching AOT, but I feel like sometimes so many animes look way too much like each other and lacks creativity in their artstyle, and so I'm so happy to have found Mob Psycho. And the fact that it's so flat and simple give the chance to the animator to give everything they have and to not bother with details, so basically, Mob Psycho is a treat to the eyes, the animation is just... *chief kiss*. And is it the only reason to watch it ? Hell no ! There are so many reasons to love it ! It might look slow at first, and it is slow in some way, but that's the beauty of it: it's not one of these anime that always need action to be interesting. The characters are human, with real flaws and good traits as well, and it's enjoyable to watch them grow even in their everyday life. There is something human and kind in this anime that just touched my heart and made me feel like having an experience instead of just watching an anime - the lessons I learned in it are valuable too, even more since I relate to the main protagonist (eh, I'm INFP after all). I love Mob Psycho so much, because like Fruits Basket, it's human, it's relatable, it's fucking beautiful thanks to its characters and the interactions between them. It's incredible how much love BONES put in this show. While they kinda rush some others animes nowadays like My Hero Academia for example and we get a new season every year almost, they really take their time with Mob Psycho - 3 years between each season so they can put all their talent and love into it : you can just feel that it's their little baby in some way, and that's adorable. In the end, this show is about friendship, people making mistakes and trying to be better. If you react to it, just know that it's okay if you don't like it at first, or if you feel thrown off because the humor is quirky and weird - sometimes you need several episodes to start to enjoy an anime, and it's normal and okay in my opinion.
One of favorite animes of all time, especially as a fan of animation in general, it's absolutely amazing how many techniques are used and how cool it works! If you haven't seen the Death Parade opening Flyers I definitely recommend it
Love this show. Mob psycho is such a great anime. The writing, the characters, the development and the unique animation. It’s message its la is amazing and the ending to s3 was phenomenal. It has’ in my opinion, one of the best endings to a show other than like code geas. 10/10 watch. It was so good that I ended up watching hours worth of how others analysed each season 😂 and the lyrics to each opening hold so much value in the show, each depicting a stage of growth. Chefs kiss
the show is about a middle school student (name MOB) who is born with a psychic power and his everyday life and struggle to figuring out his life and his emotions btw his emotions always the reason why his psychic power gets stronger as well the higher the percentage of his emotional explosion the higher the power so the highest power percentage is at 100% so that why its called Mob Psycho 100
It's been so funny. Knowing that you like to analyze not only the music, but also the animations of the openings themselves (which I really love), when I saw the new video for MOB Psycho 100 that was released, I was really funny from how it can be assessed purely from animation, haha. Such a mess
This show is very light hearted and comedic during a lot of the scenes but can really really turn 180 real fast and go in deep. Story writing is amazing and it's by the same person who did the web comic for One Punch Man.
I can say this is one of the anime you must watch before you die 😬 It’s worth the hype. Mob Psycho 100 changed my perspective on mental health and about myself. It teaches us about self-improvement ❤

I LOVE Mob Psycho 100 openings to death! They managed to put everything from from the beginning to the FRICK ENDING of the manga in the FIRST OP and not spoil anything for anime only fans. The love that was put into this show is just *chef kiss*
I was waiting for this one. With the first and second season this was already a masterpiece, and from what the production said about S3 (that it's totally completed with a month to spare and that one episode has more than 20 000 frames) it seems that it is gonna keep its place as an absolute classic The songs are all bangers too!
Im only sad we didnt see your reaction to the full song of 99 because it has one of the coolest guitar solos in any anime opening. Speaking of awesome anime openings though, the full version of Liar Mask from Akame ga Kill is incredible and is one of my all time favorite openings

The OP and ED I would recommend would 100% be from "Call of the night" which sounds just absolutely amazing. Fun fact about the ED. The creator of the manga thought it was so good he named his manga after it and now it's the ED to the anime lol

Just overall amazing series, the third season is coming out in a few days so the full version of the 3rd song is not out yet. This show has such beautiful narrative and a truly OUTSTANDING animation, loveable characters all around and a great message which is not cliche. Really recommend giving this a watch and joining us for the third season hype, hopefully you get to love this show as much as us the fandom do
the show is just as good as the openings! you might want to react to it it's sooo good also, the thing I like about this anime is you don't need to wait like 20-50 episodes for it to have banger episodes with cool fights almost every episode is a blast
I would recommend checking out openings and endings to Banana Fish, the music is amazing and I feel like you might like them ^^ The anime itself is absolutely amazing I also recomennd it (it's only one season, finished and closed story) ^^
I recommend watching this as you already watched one punch man as it is written by the same author its not similar but got the same vibe the art may be weird at first i thought that too and stuck to the end and didn't regret it
Season 3 premieres tomorrow 10/5! Definitely check out Mob Psycho 100 as soon as you can, Season 3 is the final season. Also Mob Choir consists of the voices of staff and animators that worked on MP100 :) They truly love this series and put all their heart into it

Honestly, MP100 is probably one of the only anime’s out there that could make me laugh and cry in the same episode. The anime has everything you’d want in an anime- good story, good music, great animation, comedy, and an amazing cast of characters. Highly recommend
I think you should check out the op of Kokkoku. I haven't watched the show, and from what I've heard it's apparently not particularly good, but the op is absolutely amazing and the vibe is immaculate.
I recommend both of the "Ushio To Tora" opening and endings! They don't get recommend often but they're very good. And I specifically mean the 2015 anime, since there's an old version too.
Oh man, that first Ushio to Tora opening. Being a fan of the manga and seeing that for the first time... Very 90's anime but with an updated feel. Got me real excited.
This is probably an unpopular request (given the anime is not as popular) but the openings for Re:Creators really appealed to me a lot. Once you get past the more popular requests (so, next year at the earliest lol) you should probably check them out!
I went in a Sawano rabbit hole a while ago (or should I say TH-cam made me) and both sh0ut and gravity wall ended up being my favorites of his, and I hadn't watched Re:Creators yet.
This show is a banger. you need to watch it! I have watched over 100 animes and this is definitely my favorite anime. Btw mob chior is all the animators and directors and stuff all singing! so it's not its own official band, and only has 3 songs, the 3 used for openings.
Fantastic anime, gorgeously animated & the people involved clearly are very passionate about it. Personally I feel like it's best enjoyed if you're familiar with the tropes of shonen jump anime/manga since it goes out of its way to lampshade & invert them (much like OPM by the same creator, tho IMO MP100 makes for a better story)
The openings and endings for Code Geass are great. I know for sure you'll like it, you'll love the anime as well if you ever decide to watch it and make a reaction series of it.

Continuing on a suggestion crusade: you should check out the openings and endings for That Time I Reincarnated as a Slime and "So I'm a Spider, So What?" If you liked this, I think you will really like the openings and endings of the second one.
So I doubt many people will know this one but it's an entire song and entire anime at once. It was written by an American DJ and composed my him and a French musician along with help from A-1 studios in Japan to animate. it took over a year of back and forth trips from American to Japan and many hours spent over call working together. It's called shelter by porter Robinson and it is one of the shortest anime that is out there but tells a story in 6 minutes that some shows and and movies take years to develop.
Madeon And Porter. It was a break out hit and a lot of people know about it. I would not call it an anime as much as a fantastic music video but its definitely a good song.
Been watching all these reactions and been enjoying them , a few recommendations that are a little different from the usual ones you have been reacting too are - Your Name. soundtrack (Kimi No Na Wa) & Suzume No Tojimari OP (i think you'd love both of those a lot . ) As for outliers - Violet Evergarden OP has a beautiful vocalist - Monogatari Series has a lot of very popular openings in the anime community such as Platinum Disco / Renei Circulation etc. - Made in Abyss is a staple for its soundtrack as well - Mushoku Tensei OP's - Ya Boy Kongming is pretty funny opening but SUPER catchy - My Dress Up Darling - Yofukashi No Uta Hope those give you some ideas!
I recommend the Opening to Log Horrizon. While the show itself is bit of a marmite show, the OP is an absolute banger that you specifically willll love. :)
I'm sure you've heard this from people a million times already, but check out Dororo's Kaen. I guarantee you will lose your mind multiple times listening to it. Also I haven't watched mob psycho but I absolutely adore the openings, and from what I know about the show it's about a guy named "mob" (listless mob character) who is a psychic psycho.
I have a recommendation for you, there’s a guy named divide music that does a bunch of songs based on anime characters and he’s even got one for our little boy Mob called psycho!!
So with the animation. The creator of the series is called One. He's a very unique case in the anime community because his art isn't that good. He's gotten a lot better over the course of his career, but initially his stuff was very crude until his first series to get picked up in One Punch Man. Where his talent for writing was recognized and he was given one of the greatest artists in manga, Yusuke Murata. This series shows his growth as an artist and especially as a writer. It's an absolutely God tier anime
honestly a nice addition to the reactions would be...after all the anime openings you give a guess as to what you think the anime is about...and then after the guess you read its plot synopsis and see how close you've gotten. Think it'd be quite funny seeing how surprisingly right or wrong you'd be lol

Mob Psycho 100 is among of the best anime's out there in my opinion and is one of my favorites next to AoT . The story is just heart warming, the character writing amazing and the animation is top tier. I highly recommend this series to anyone if you haven't seen it yet
It is a bit quirky and it might not appeal to people getting into anime but I do hope you give it a chance to show how brilliant it is.
The creativity of those who made these openings is incredible, just like the anime.

Mob Psycho is my favorite anime ever, and while it's quite famous now, I would say it's still thrown aside way too easily by watchers because of the artstyle - something that I never understood because... Really ? It's UNIQUE, CREATIVE, you won't find anything like that anywhere else ! It might not strike you because you only are watching AOT, but I feel like sometimes so many animes look way too much like each other and lacks creativity in their artstyle, and so I'm so happy to have found Mob Psycho. And the fact that it's so flat and simple give the chance to the animator to give everything they have and to not bother with details, so basically, Mob Psycho is a treat to the eyes, the animation is just... *chief kiss*. And is it the only reason to watch it ? Hell no ! There are so many reasons to love it ! It might look slow at first, and it is slow in some way, but that's the beauty of it: it's not one of these anime that always need action to be interesting. The characters are human, with real flaws and good traits as well, and it's enjoyable to watch them grow even in their everyday life. There is something human and kind in this anime that just touched my heart and made me feel like having an experience instead of just watching an anime - the lessons I learned in it are valuable too, even more since I relate to the main protagonist (eh, I'm INFP after all). I love Mob Psycho so much, because like Fruits Basket, it's human, it's relatable, it's fucking beautiful thanks to its characters and the interactions between them.
It's incredible how much love BONES put in this show. While they kinda rush some others animes nowadays like My Hero Academia for example and we get a new season every year almost, they really take their time with Mob Psycho - 3 years between each season so they can put all their talent and love into it : you can just feel that it's their little baby in some way, and that's adorable.
In the end, this show is about friendship, people making mistakes and trying to be better. If you react to it, just know that it's okay if you don't like it at first, or if you feel thrown off because the humor is quirky and weird - sometimes you need several episodes to start to enjoy an anime, and it's normal and okay in my opinion.
One of favorite animes of all time, especially as a fan of animation in general, it's absolutely amazing how many techniques are used and how cool it works!
If you haven't seen the Death Parade opening Flyers I definitely recommend it

Love this show. Mob psycho is such a great anime. The writing, the characters, the development and the unique animation. It’s message its la is amazing and the ending to s3 was phenomenal. It has’ in my opinion, one of the best endings to a show other than like code geas. 10/10 watch. It was so good that I ended up watching hours worth of how others analysed each season 😂 and the lyrics to each opening hold so much value in the show, each depicting a stage of growth. Chefs kiss
the show is about a middle school student (name MOB) who is born with a psychic power and his everyday life and struggle to figuring out his life and his emotions
btw his emotions always the reason why his psychic power gets stronger as well the higher the percentage of his emotional explosion the higher the power so the highest power percentage is at 100% so that why its called Mob Psycho 100
I hope you give this series a shot, man. It touched my heart in ways I never thought a show could, and the 3rd season hasn't even started yet.

This show is very light hearted and comedic during a lot of the scenes but can really really turn 180 real fast and go in deep. Story writing is amazing and it's by the same person who did the web comic for One Punch Man.

MOB Psycho 100 opening always makes us wonder, WTF is going on in this show? everything seems to mess up. And when we finally watched it. we start to wonder again, WTF why it's so good.

I was waiting for this one. With the first and second season this was already a masterpiece, and from what the production said about S3 (that it's totally completed with a month to spare and that one episode has more than 20 000 frames) it seems that it is gonna keep its place as an absolute classic

Im only sad we didnt see your reaction to the full song of 99 because it has one of the coolest guitar solos in any anime opening. Speaking of awesome anime openings though, the full version of Liar Mask from Akame ga Kill is incredible and is one of my all time favorite openings

Season 3 premieres tomorrow 10/5! Definitely check out Mob Psycho 100 as soon as you can, Season 3 is the final season. Also Mob Choir consists of the voices of staff and animators that worked on MP100 :) They truly love this series and put all their heart into it

Honestly, MP100 is probably one of the only anime’s out there that could make me laugh and cry in the same episode. The anime has everything you’d want in an anime- good story, good music, great animation, comedy, and an amazing cast of characters.

I recommend both of the "Ushio To Tora" opening and endings! They don't get recommend often but they're very good. And I specifically mean the 2015 anime, since there's an old version too.

This is probably an unpopular request (given the anime is not as popular) but the openings for Re:Creators really appealed to me a lot. Once you get past the more popular requests (so, next year at the earliest lol) you should probably check them out!

This show is a banger. you need to watch it! I have watched over 100 animes and this is definitely my favorite anime. Btw mob chior is all the animators and directors and stuff all singing! so it's not its own official band, and only has 3 songs, the 3 used for openings.

Fantastic anime, gorgeously animated & the people involved clearly are very passionate about it. Personally I feel like it's best enjoyed if you're familiar with the tropes of shonen jump anime/manga since it goes out of its way to lampshade & invert them (much like OPM by the same creator, tho IMO MP100 makes for a better story)

So I doubt many people will know this one but it's an entire song and entire anime at once. It was written by an American DJ and composed my him and a French musician along with help from A-1 studios in Japan to animate. it took over a year of back and forth trips from American to Japan and many hours spent over call working together. It's called shelter by porter Robinson and it is one of the shortest anime that is out there but tells a story in 6 minutes that some shows and and movies take years to develop.
Madeon And Porter. It was a break out hit and a lot of people know about it. I would not call it an anime as much as a fantastic music video but its definitely a good song.

Also I haven't watched mob psycho but I absolutely adore the openings, and from what I know about the show it's about a guy named "mob" (listless mob character) who is a psychic psycho.
I have a recommendation for you, there’s a guy named divide music that does a bunch of songs based on anime characters and he’s even got one for our little boy Mob called psycho!!
So with the animation. The creator of the series is called One. He's a very unique case in the anime community because his art isn't that good. He's gotten a lot better over the course of his career, but initially his stuff was very crude until his first series to get picked up in One Punch Man. Where his talent for writing was recognized and he was given one of the greatest artists in manga, Yusuke Murata. This series shows his growth as an artist and especially as a writer. It's an absolutely God tier anime

honestly a nice addition to the reactions would be...after all the anime openings you give a guess as to what you think the anime is about...and then after the guess you read its plot synopsis and see how close you've gotten.
