As someone who lives in Texas, I can attest to how bad that storm was. It was like straight up hurricane level for a short while. Trees snapped in half, signs blown over into the road, those orange road barrels moved INTO the road rather than the side of the road. It got bad for like an hour.
If you guys think it's tough on Mario Party these days, try the first 2 Mario Party games using an N64 controller. Some of those games had you rotate the analog stick as fast as you could, and the best way to do that was to place your palm on it. That fucking thing was ridged with several raised circle shapes, abraded the crap out of you whichever technique you went with XD
I'm a bit more north of chilled in DFW and man those storms were rough. My neighbors power line fell into his yard and caught the lawn on fire. It fried our internet and took 2 days to fix it. As soon as the wind picked up I unplugged all electronics, glad I did because we got some power surges.
