  • Frederick Chiluba had recently been elected as president in Zambia's first ever multi-party elections in almost 3 decades.
He spoke to the audience about the challenges Zambia faced. Mr. Chiluba was visiting the United States to receive the AFL-CIO’s annual George Meany Human Rights Award.
From this speech alone, now you know why Chiluba in his prime was able to mesmerize crowds with his eloquence! Inshimbi ni nshimbi!

Chiluba at his peak. In 1991 he was still in his honeymoon phase but history will judge him with much more nuance. One thing you cant deny is his master oratory skills.

You are very right but it is and it was practically impossible for FTJ and MMD to do that due to IMF's unfair demands on developing nations. The aim of IMF to kill industries in Africa so we can perpetually be the buyers of European countries.

Indeed, President Chiluba meant well for Zambia. The only problem he made was to mix politics with God.

Are you British English? Is English is also a foreign language to you or is it a
question of one black man against another( both black and not Britons).
