thank you, this was really simple explanation! I forgot how to clip layers and needed a refresher since last time i used digital art was like years ago.
Thank you! In clipping, when you clip to the below layer, the strokes outside the circle disappear. What if i want the strokes outside to be visible and want to make the strokes inside the circle disappear? Like the reverse of what you did in the video? (Im a beginner, so still learning!)
@@luminvade one more thing, can you drop the time code for what part your talking about and give me a little bit more explanation to your question please. I wanna help you correctly the first time.
@@Marshulartzz2:50 here. The blue lines outside the red circle disappear when you 'clip to layer below'. I want the blue lines outside the red circle to stay and the blue lines inside the red circle to disappear without erasing anything else outside the red circle.
I wanna ask something, when im drawing my hands touch the screen sometimes and paints, i want to disable this, i want the app recognize just the pen, how can i do this
I will answer this question as best I can. I don’t believe theres a way you can turn it off completely, but just to make sure. Are you drawing in a tablet only?
@@Marshulartzz yes!! im drawing on tablet so my hands touch it the screen sometimes and left a mark. i was trying to find out last night and clicking somethings randomly, i turn off but idk how did i do🤷🏻
So there are couple things that could be wrong. 1. you could not have a color selected. you could accidentally be on the box beneath your 2 color boxes. 2. you could have a "smart layer" instead of a "Rasterized layer". Basically "right click" you image and click "Rasterize" and that will solve it. 3. maybe your program/Computer needs an update so try updating them, reseting your computer and your program should act the way its supposed to.
@@Marshulartzz hi so im having the same problem kinda. when i use it it just doesnt paint the color as opaque as without locking transparent layer. the color is just so faint for some reason. what did i do wrong. thanks in advance

Can you tell me: how to insert an image in a layer mask?
Hey just made a video on my YT. Hopefully this helps you!
@@Marshulartzz ty, I'll check it out.
Is there anyway to use a masking layer to paint on too
Yes, there is I will be sure to make a video about this
do u prefer alpha locking layers or clipping them?
It depends on what I'm doing. but probably alpha locking

English is not my native language so im having hard times. I cant understand anything in the app literally😭😭😭😭😭
