He's so right. Artists are so caught up on what everyone wants and need, musically, which is not always bad, but it's not always meaningful. Bob Marley spoke truth and changed the world.

DEBONAIRMAN they are all talented and sound so much like their dad. Kymani says they all bring a lot to the table but that Stephen thought them most of the the things they know. He produces, writes songs, does some sound engineering, plays multi instruments and is just a music box

Roooootttttssss rock reggae yeeeaaahhh love for reggae music. Marley name will always have royalty. Bob is more than an icon, legend, he is a star amoungst start in the sky. His words that were spoken still live even through all of his children. Blessings always to the whole Marley family. Spread more of them positive messages king man. Reggae music lives on roots and dancehall. Roots keeps us conscious and dancehall is the have fun and party music. Growing up listening to dancehall reggae I also had wonderful exposure to roots that helped me to have a positive mentally and vibe. Viva la reggae for Iva.

great interview! been too long a wait since the last Marley release, so many things I'd like to see... an album with the whole family, a covers album of old classic reggae tracks brought up to date for a new generation, and a new Nas&Damian album - Patience is one the best songs ever written, nuff said... i could go on for hours, much love to the Marley family and all who read this !

Blessings to the Marley's Love this interview, was fortunate to see his concert Fruits of Life in Boston this past April. Ragga gave his all and it was truly a reflection of his love for what he does. I even got a chance to meet this wonderful man. He is truly Humble. Truly have love for the Marley family.

Was that the show in Boston, things got so hot, the fire department was called??!! 🔥
Lol, I think someone actually pulled the fire alarm and then we all had to go outside. I believe that's the same gig you're speaking of.. I remember it well.
Stephen 'Raggamuffin' Marley always gives 1000% live regardless if it's a crowd of 100 or if it's a massive audience. I have so much *RESPECT* for his creativity and talent. He *ALWAYS* delivers the *message* and the *truth* : his gift is truly undeniable!

Dancehall and reggae at this point ARE in fact different genres of music. If you break down dancehall in terms of its beat, not just its vibe or lyrics, it's a different thing entirely. Dancehall nowadays, for the most part, doesn't even have a bassline, and the bassline is the most essential part of reggae. Back in the 90's, dancehall was a part of reggae, but not any more.

my hope that one day i am going to meet one of bob's children, especially mr stephen marley,i see stephen as the hard core of the marley family, and i have one little warning too the marley brothers, and that is there is a saying among the brothers that they all have to choose their own part, that might be so,but member that the blord jesus christ said that my father and I are ONE so though different messages might be coming out from the lips of the brothers, there need to be a oneness and a sole objective, and that oneness should be what bob preached, apple cannot produce mangoes.

U must not have read his book where he said him being left out has always been an issue. Also they have a Marley concert every year in Miami and he hasn't been going for the past 4-5 years

lovejsantos It’s sad because Kymani is the most talent and sound exactly like Bob. He doesn’t need to be a part of the other Marley’s.

Grammy's din't mean shit. Just comnercial acceptance. Roots reggae in the hills and mountains and is the grassroots of the King of Kings music. Kool Herc, hmm better to listen to "Jamaican Ting" by Beenie Man in 2006. Beenie Man broje it down long before Kool Herc. Sway do your homework.
