It doesn't matter if we draft OL and DL if we don't know how to scout, pick the right ones, and DEVELOP them. Our front office is incapable of it. We need to identify WHO in the league is skilled at scouting these positions and give them a blank check. Same with people who are skilled at DEVELOPING these players at these positions. We have the same people scouting and drafting that we've had for years. THEY are the problem. If those people aren't replaced, NOTHING is changing.
Tank next year, Trade down with #1 pick overall for King's Ransom, Use those picks to build up Trenches. That's really the only way you Accelerate catching up with Eagles, nonetheless within your division Lions and Packers being deeper in their roster and developing draft picks.

The NFL posts the line and over unders for every game on their website. The NFL pretends games aren’t influenced by betting by adding replay and creating policies, but replay has really only exacerbated the issue in fan’s minds. All games may not be all rigged, but it sure seems like some games are. People also tend to overlook the first two quarters of a game when some of the most egregious calls are made. It’s generally late game gaffs that are remembered, but you’ll find an incredible amount actually happen early when no ones paying as close attention or when fans more easily forget by the end of a game. Those plays shift the momentum in such a way the team never recovers in the second half, and it often only takes a simple offsides call to keep the game out of reach on a late drive.
Wait a minute I thought the Vikings were trying to catch the 49ers? That what was said in the spring 😂 now it's the Eagles?? And when a new team next year reaches the Super Bowl the Vikings will try and catch them 🤔
First off, I'm definitely fine with chiefs eagles....they're both the 2 best teams, easily, and they both already have rings, so whats it matter if they throw another ring on their pile? We're Vikings fans, so once we're eliminated, it really doesn't matter, outside of rooting against very specific teams THAT I HATE. And Boy Oh Boy do I DETEST buffalo.....I almost WEPT with joy over watching them lose like that, again, and I would think most Vikings fans want that as well.....I HATE buffalo because my wife and I were assaulted at Orchard Park by disgusting bills fans, for absolutely no reason..... They also did Doug Flutie dirty.....for rob johnson....? But why would we want any of the non-super-bowl-winning-teams to get one before us? In the end, whatever is not Vikings Related is of no consequence to me, other than to study what a real contender looks like.
Catching the Eagles?... y'all speaking as if they're walking into '25 with the exact same squad... they face the same issues all teams do...Free agency, contact extentions, salary cap, you name it...and they have ballers hitting FA, with less than 30 mill in cap space... if you're going to give the weaknesses of the Vikes, give the weaknesses of the Eagles too... I'd say we need to worry about Detroit more than the Eagles... they have almost as much cap space as we do...and coming back with ballers like AH... see how the off-season shakes out before deciding who can catch who... it's all even unless you're the Chiefs and can play with your mama on the squad!
