Can we stop pretending that the defense in the 2nd meeting last season is anything like this years defense? Nobody ever mentions how that defenses when healthy for the first meeting of the year put the clamps on Love at the midseason mark.

This week 4 match up verses the hated Packers worries me. The Vikings defense top 5 ranking against the run is misleading. They've faced a non existent NY Giants ground game, faced the 49ers and Texans who were without their #1 RB's and did give up 100 yards rushing to the 49ers RB2, Jordan Mason. Will the smaller, but quicker Viking defenders be able to contain a Packers offense that will obviously lean heavily on a run game led by Josh Jacobs, the athleticism of Malik Willis, the speed of WR Jayden Reed and the other WR's on bubble screens, etc, etc? This will be a huge test against a tough Packers team. A win will be huge. A loss wouldn't be the end of the world for the Vikings but the inability to stop the run heavy team could show the rest of the league the blue print on how to beat Flores scary defense.

What is with this Giants game was like a bye BS narrative? They were unlucky not to beat the Commanders when their kicker went down on the kick off, beat the Browns who were a so called playoff contender, and pushed the Cowboys until the last play. The Giants are just an average team. The Vikes just made them look real bad. The Packers might not be much better. W Kenny Clark is probably a better match up for Brandel and Ingram than Dexter was. Week 8 in Lambeau last season is probably a better form guide than week 17 at USB. I don't think the Packers can win, and I'm not expecting it to be close.

coincidentally, darnold, as a rookie, battled against aaron rodgers and the packers. his defense let him down or he would have won that game. i have ZERO doubt that darnold can win a shootout

The packers were our only in decision rivals that matter the last 20 years. I started paying attention in 2006, so because of that…. FTP.

I don't know what year and I don't know who won, but Chris Walsh got drilled when he took a knee. Fans were throwing bottles at Chris Hovan. I was listening to KFAN live. PA was going crazy.

It took quite awhile before zimmers defense was any good here in Minnesota too. Not saying the league hasn’t passed him by, but I think it’s still too early to say.

All viking fans we all have that gut feeling when we played the 49ers are we good enough to play with them prayer answered same thing with the Texans everyone said we couldn't beat them prayer answered I just have that same feeling we're all anticipating believe me we've been doing it for so many years but we will go into Lambeau and we will kick their butts I truly believe it the Packers defense is no better than the Texans or the 49ers and really the Giants have a good defensive front quit worrying fans will get through this with a victory then we have controls of the NFC North

If Vikings lose then the only thing that happens is we go to London 3-1 rather than 4-0. Sure we lose the initial head-to-head tiebreaker with the Packers, but we can claw that back at US Bank Stadium later in the season.

Choice between Willis or Love? I choose both of them. I want the Packers to be so unhappy with how their starter is playing that they have to play the backup. Willis and Love run different offenses, so having to change midway through the game will almost certainly disrupt other players. Ideally Love will get the start, but after the first quarter they realise he hasn’t got the full mobility to be able to protect himself, so they bring in Willis and the offense takes a long time to adjust.

My league has 5 IR spots. I drafted Hockenson and Chubb late to stash them there. End added Pacheco just in case. I also have Samuel and now Kittle. My injured roster is stacked! I'm still somehow 3-0. Lol. It's because I prioritized RBs in the draft.

It doesn't matter who the QB is for GB. They are going to find out.

I think Flores stays in Minnesota. MIami soured him on the whole Head Coach thing, and he's building something here. I think he'll want to at least see it through until the end here, and then be able to chose where he wants to go, instead of accepting the best offer.
